00:10Willis can be seen shaking hands with a Los Angeles police officer and posing for a photo.

00:17Spotting a first responder, Bruce never missed a chance to show his gratitude with a heartfelt handshake and a thank you for your service.
00:23Yesterday was no different.
00:25The video seemingly marks the first time Willis has been spotted in public since 2022.
00:30After his family announced that the actor had initially been diagnosed with the language disorder aphasia
00:34and would be stepping away from acting as a result.
00:37In 2023, the Willis family shared that Bruce had received a more specific diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia or FTD.
00:45A statement released by the Willis family at the time said in part,
00:48FTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone.
00:52Today, there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead.
00:57Since his diagnosis, Hemming Willis has served as the actor's caregiver.
