Reporters were taken by surprise when Marvel Studios opened its doors to a group of journalists on Monday. 'Black Panther' footage and wild concept art for 'Ant-Man and The Wasp' were among the other new revelations.

00:11An unexpected Thor Ragnarok casting was just one of the things that took reporters by surprise
00:16when Marvel Studios opened its doors to a group of journalists on Monday.
00:19Black Panther footage and wild concept art for Ant-Man and the Wasp were among the other new revelations.
00:25As security was tight and photos were limited, we can't show you too much,
00:29but we can break down what the Hollywood reporters Aaron Couch and Boris Kitt saw behind the scenes.
00:33Dailies from Black Panther were shown to reporters as the film is just about to wrap up shooting.
00:38The footage was still rough, but the dailies confirmed that the movie will have gorgeous costumes
00:43and be grand enough to be worthy of a king.
00:45Journalists were also ushered into an office where Ant-Man and the Wasp director Peyton Reed
00:49showed off concept art for the film that's set to be released in 2018.
00:53Reed revealed Ant-Man will get a whole new suit for the movie.
00:57The director called it the 3.0 suit and said,
01:01Other treats on display included a mock-up of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, the hero she'll play in the 2019 film,
01:09and a look at the costume Josh Brolin will wear as Thanos in Avengers Infinity War.
01:13As for Thor Ragnarok, director Taika Waititi revealed he will be playing a motion-capture role in the film.
01:19He'll portray the comic book character Korg, a gladiator known from the Planet Hulk comic book storyline.
01:24Waititi also showed reporters a scene in which Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth,
01:28is put into a prisoner area with fellow gladiators. The film hits theaters this November.
