00:00That reminds me of the moment after the attack on Pearl Harbor when FDR said,
00:04what are you going to do?
00:06Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday lit into President Donald Trump over his recent interview with Axios that
00:12aired Monday night on HBO. One of the larger takeaways from the interview was Trump's apparent
00:17lack of care that more than 150,000 people have died so far from the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S.,
00:23with the president telling interviewer Jonathan Swan,
00:26They are dying. That's true. And it is what it is.
00:30The Tonight Show host expressed his disgust over Trump's indifference, saying,
00:34You're the president of the United States. You're not Pauly Walnuts delivering bad news to Tony Soprano.
00:40Fallon continued the segment showing what he claims are deleted clips from the interview,
00:44but with himself playing Trump and responding to the actual botched Trump moments.
00:49That's right. When other countries look at us, they think America lower than the world.
00:54At another point in the HBO interview, the real Trump downplayed the legacy of the late
01:00congressman and civil rights activist John Lewis, complaining that Lewis skipped his inauguration,
01:05to which the late-night host had this to say.
01:07You know Trump's probably keeping stimulus checks from all the kids who didn't show up to his fifth
01:11birthday party.
