00:00Yes, based on our monitoring today, as of 1200, there were four Chinese Coast Guard ships monitored in the vicinity of Baho ni Masinlok.
00:09Three of these were within two nautical miles of the shoal, while the fourth was 50 nautical miles west of Zambales.
00:21So, makita natin na yung tatlo ay nasa paligid lang ng Baho ni Masinlok, yung isang ay medyo lumapit ng konti.
00:27Lumapit sa coastal area of Zambales. It was traveling northward with a point of 000 degrees.
00:35Ibig sabihin, straight up northward ang kanyang takbo, a speed of approximately 8 knots, directo ang kanyang takbo.
00:44We do not want to speculate bakit lumapit siya, but we have noticed in the past na pag meron tayong weather disturbance,
00:51afterwards, bumabalik ang mga CCG, Marta Militia, and yung PLA Navy.
00:58And if you notice, nakakalabas naman ang bagyo natin.
01:02So, during the storm, we also noticed na bumaba ang mga numbers nila.
01:06So, this could now be the return of the ships yung pagbalik nila after the typhoon.
01:09It was monitored southeast of Baho ni Masinlok, traveling northward.
01:16At around 1,200, today, it was 51 nautical miles west of Butolan.
01:23Tuloy-tuloy pa ng kanyang biyahe northward.
01:26Northern Luzon Naval Command attempted to send an aircraft to challenge the ship,
01:32but because of the adverse weather, hindi naka-take off your aircraft.
01:37The monitoring, the report did not mention kung saan lang galing,
01:41but the moment they picked up the ship through our domain awareness,
01:47they kept tracking it already.
01:49Sir, should this be a cause for alarm?
01:51No, definitely no.
01:53Why? Because we are already aware of their presence.
01:57That's why we monitor them and we record everything.
01:59Ang changes lang na nangyari sa Baho ni Masinlok
02:03after the false declaration of the nature reserve
02:07is yung dalawang buoy on the northeast corner of the shore
02:11and yung mga barriers sa bukana ng shore.
02:16The number of ships is basically the same
02:19even before the default declaration of the nature reserve.
02:25Lahat naman na ito, we contested this, we pushed back,
02:28we brought this out through our transparency initiative
02:32in coordination with the Coast Guard and IFR.
02:36At the same time, yung ating mga patrols under Nolcombe
02:38ay tuloy-tuloy pa rin.
