00:03This cashew chicken delivers restaurant quality flavor in 30 minutes, crispy golden chicken
00:08coated in a glossy savory sweet sauce, crunchy buttery cashews and a perfect umami balance
00:14all made easily in a skillet or wok.
00:17For the chicken, you'll need one and a half pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts
00:20cut into one inch pieces, seasoned with salt and pepper, then coated in one quarter cup
00:25of cornstarch and cooked in two tablespoons of vegetable oil.
00:29For the sauce, combine one quarter cup low sodium soy sauce, one half cup chicken broth,
00:34three minced garlic cloves, one tablespoon brown sugar, one tablespoon hoisin sauce and one
00:40teaspoon sesame oil.
00:42To finish the dish, add one cup of whole unsalted cashews.
00:47Cut one and a half pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts into one inch pieces and pat
00:51them completely dry to ensure proper browning.

00:57Place the chicken in a large ziplock bag with one quarter cup cornstarch and shake vigorously
