00:06Mark Consuelos isn't sticking around at the airport, even for his wife, Kelly Ripa.

00:11On the November 24th episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Consuelos admitted he doesn't

00:16wait for passengers with tight connections when deplaning.

00:19Every now and then they say, hey, if you have a delay, please let the people come off the

00:23plane.

00:24They have a tight connection, he shared.

00:25And if I'm up front, I'm going to say, my tight connection is getting into a taxi.

00:30That's my tight connection.

00:32The Riverdale actor joked he has zero intention of letting anyone, even people sitting only

00:37a few rows back, slow down his escape.

00:41I'm getting off because I'm not holding anybody up.

00:43I'm grabbing my stuff and flying off that plane, Consuelos declared.

00:47I'm not necessarily waiting for those poor souls 10 rows behind me.

00:50I'm off that plane.

00:51But Ripa didn't waste a second calling out her husband of nearly 30 years.

00:58He means his wife, she teased.

01:00According to the Hope and Faith actress, she's used to being left in the dust.

01:04I usually get a text.

01:06I'll meet you at the cab, she explained, adding that the message doubles as a warning.

01:10That's when I know I have to, like, grab my stuff and book it.

01:14Otherwise, the cab is not going to wait.

01:16And Consuelos?

01:17He gives her a very small window before he pulls away without her.

01:21Ripa revealed he allows a grace period of 35 to 60 seconds for her to get there.

01:25Or else she's at risk of watching him speed off in his taxi.

01:29On their morning show, Consuelos and Ripa often discuss travel, recently joking about

01:33an airport divorce, a viral trend where couples separate at the airport and reunite only at

01:38the gate.

01:39The airport divorce is what we are definitely getting, Ripa insisted.

01:43As Consuelos joked, just watching married people quarrel on TV.
