00:04We've got all the details on Taylor Swift's latest album, The Life of a Showgirl,

00:08including the track list and a release date. Swift spilled all the tea while making her

00:13highly anticipated appearance on boyfriend Travis Kelsey's New Heights podcast with Jason Kelsey.

00:19The pop superstar announced that her latest album will be released on October 3rd

00:23and feature 12 new songs. Swift said the album is about what was going on during her life while

00:28she was on the heiress tour. It just comes from like the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic

00:37place I was in in my life. Swift also confirmed on the podcast that there would be no other songs on

00:43the album aside from the 12 announced tracks, referencing her surprise double album drop of

00:49the tortured poets department. This is the record I've been wanting to make for a very long time.

00:54Swift also released the track list for The Life of a Showgirl, among them the first

00:58track will be The Fate of Ophelia. Taylor's coveted track 5 is called Eldest Daughter and it ends

01:04with the title track The Life of a Showgirl featuring Sabrina Carpenter. The album reunites Swift

01:09with legendary hitmakers Max Martin and Shellback, who worked with Swift on some of her biggest,

01:14more pop-leaning hits like Blank Space, Shake It Off, 22 and I Knew You Were Trouble. On the podcast,

01:20Swift revealed that she started working on The Life of a Showgirl while she was on the heiress tour

01:24in Europe. I'd do like three shows in a row, I'd have three days off, I'd fly to Sweden,

01:30go back to the tour and actually like working on this, I was physically exhausted at this point in

01:35the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated. Elsewhere Swift joked of her making her first

01:41podcast appearance. This podcast got me a boyfriend ever since Travis decided to use it as his personal

01:47dating app about two years ago. She continued, this felt more like I was in an 80s John Hughes movie

01:53and he was just like standing outside of my window with a boombox. This guy isn't crazy,

01:58which is a big if. This is sort of what I've been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I
