00:07Norm MacDonald keeps finding himself in hot water. After he made controversial comments about Roseanne Barr and Louis C.K.
00:13in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the comedian apologized on Howard Stern's radio show.
00:19But his choice of words has gotten him in even more trouble, and now he's apologizing for that too.
00:24In a THR interview about his new Netflix talk show, he mentioned that he connected Barr with C.K.
00:29following the loss of her TV series Over Racist Remarks. C.K. lost his series over sexual assault allegations.
00:36MacDonald told THR,
00:47MacDonald told Stern his comments on the matter were misconstrued, saying he never defended Barr and C.K.
00:53He added,
00:54And that comment sparked even more controversy. The ARC, an organization serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities,
01:05blasted MacDonald for his ignorance. So on Thursday's The View, MacDonald said this.
01:10It's always bad when you have to apologize for an apology.
01:14He later added that he chose to use the term Down Syndrome instead of a word we would all say to mean stupid that we don't say anymore.
01:20I realized at that moment that I'd done something unforgivable.
01:25MacDonald's Tonight Show interview was also canceled due to the controversial remarks.
