00:00Jessica Alba is hitting the road with Disney Plus for a brand new series.
00:05The actress and entrepreneur will host and executive produce a docu-series called
00:09Parenting Without Borders for the streaming platform. The series, which is based on a
00:12book, will examine how cultures shape parenting around the world.
00:16The show is set to follow the actress, mother and entrepreneur who co-founded The Honest
00:20Company, which makes products for children and parents, as she meets with families in
00:24various parts of the globe and explores the parenting beliefs and practices that shape
00:28families. Katherine O'Kane from Netflix's Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat will serve as showrunner and
00:33director for Parenting Without Borders, with Alba set to co-executive produce the series.
00:37Disney Plus has yet to set a premiere date for the show. Parenting Without Borders will
00:42join a non-fiction lineup on the streamer that also includes Marvel's Hero Project,
00:46The Imagineering Story and the recently released Shop Class, among others.
00:50As for Alba, she also stars with Gabrielle Union in the Spectrum original series
00:54LA's Finest, which has been renewed for a second season.
