00:19The show is set 200 years after a nuclear apocalypse, and it will follow the gentle occupants of luxury Fallout shelters,
00:26who are forced back into the harsh world they've kept at bay.
00:28Prime Video has also released more detailed character descriptions for Fallout's lead roles.
00:33Ella Purnell of Yellow Jackets stars as Lucy, an idealistic vault dweller whose ideals are tested when people harm her loved ones.
00:41Walton Goggins plays the ghoul, a bounty hunter on the surface who's hiding his past.
00:45Aaron Moten plays Maximus, a young soldier in the Brotherhood of Steel who believes in the group's mission to bring law and order to the wasteland.
00:52And Kyle McLaughlin plays Lucy's father, overseer Hank, who's in charge of Vault 33 and is eager to change the world for the better.
00:59Fallout has been in the making for more than three years.
01:02Amazon licensed rights to the game in July 2020, bringing on Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan to develop the series.
01:09Fallout is set to premiere on April 12, 2024.
