00:04 because you're picking up the mantle of something

00:07 that so many talented writers and artists have

00:10 worked on for so many decades.

00:12 And we knew that we wanted to tell an original story

00:15 within the "Fallout" universe.

00:17 We were drawn to the idea of creating characters

00:19 who would embody the different factions that "Fallout"

00:22 is so famous for.

00:23 So a vault dweller, a ghoul, a member

00:25 of the Brotherhood of Steel.

00:27 We wanted to show as much of the world

00:29 as we can through different lenses.

00:31 And it just makes you lean in.

00:32 My name is Lucy McLean, and I'm an active contributor

00:41 to the well-being of my community.

00:43 She is doing her duty.

00:45 She's rebuilding America.

00:47 And then she really has her whole world rocked.

01:07 The ghoul is someone who has seen the worst that we have

01:25 He's a part of the Brotherhood of Steel.

01:41 "Fallout" does a really great job of showing

01:43 both sides of that coin.

01:46 So to be able to juxtapose the real human emotions

01:50 with this large scale is the kind of story

01:52 that I like to see.

01:55 There's a tone reminiscent of the good, the bad, the ugly.
