Glee Season 5 and Season 6 may be moving to New York permanently. Lea Michele and Chris Colfer's characters have already moved and more New Directions members will follow.

00:04Hey guys, I'm Alaina Scantlin for ENTV, TVLine.com has all the details.

00:11Glee has been splitting episodes between New York and Ohio for a little over a year now,

00:16but sources confirmed to TVLine exclusively that they may shift the entire show to the

00:21Big Apple as early as this season.

00:23I want to hit up Central Park, get my frolic on.

00:25I want to throw stuff off the Brooklyn Bridge.

00:27You know, we can see how the shift would work.

00:29Original cast members Rachel, Santana and Kurt first made the post-graduation move to NYC.

00:34And now things are getting even more exciting with the addition of Demi Lovato as Danny and

00:39American Idol alum Adam Lambert who makes his debut in next week's episode.

00:44We can't say we don't love the idea of a Friends-type storyline for Glee even if it means

00:48saying goodbye to the new crew over at McKinley High.

00:51The move is reportedly just one of a few shake-ups the show will face in its final two seasons,

00:57a result of the sudden death of star Cory Monteith back in July.

01:01Show creator Ryan Murphy recently talked about the challenges they faced writing Cory's beloved

01:06Glee character Finn out of the show saying, quote,

01:09It's hard every day, it's hard in the writer's room, it's hard on the set.

01:12The show is currently on hiatus following their Cory tribute episode on October 10th.

01:17It returns with an all-new episode on November 7th titled, A Katy or A Gaga?
