00:35The letter, dated November 2nd, criticizes the current regime's treatment of members of the LGBTQ plus community,
00:41its track record on individual rights, its restriction of the media, and imprisonment of women's rights activists, among other issues.
00:48A key argument of the chairman and CEO of HRF is that Saudi Arabia's monarchy is using entertainment and sports ventures
00:56to distract from abuses of power, and that Bieber's statements in support of various social justice causes
