00:18We're talking beauty tubers in this one, starting with Manny M.U.A. Gutierrez,

00:23because the 28-year-old has landed a retail deal with Sephora, and I am so proud of him.

00:28Manny made the announcement on Instagram reflecting on how he began his makeup journey

00:32working at the store six years ago, and things have now come full circle.

00:37And he currently has two Lunar Beauty palettes on Sephora's website.

00:41But okay, let's switch gears a little and talk about James Charles,

00:44because apparently the sisters hate to see him winning.

00:47Following his appearance at the Met Gala and the release of his video about being invited,

00:51James has been losing subscribers by the thousands.

00:55Not only did fans hate what he wore to the event,

00:57but they're also dragging James for the caption of his Instagram post.

01:02In part, being invited to such an important event like the ball is such an honor

01:06and a step forward in the right direction for influencer representation in the media,

01:11and I'm so excited to be a catalyst.

01:13Users on social media slammed James for saying his statement was tone-deaf,

01:18considering Liza Koshy was the first to be invited last year

01:21and made an appearance this year hosting for Vogue.

01:24James continued with that tone in an Instagram story where he explained he knew the backlash would come,

01:30because it always does when an influencer does something new.

01:39I knew this was going to happen, though.

01:41Anytime anything like this ever happens,

01:55it was such a huge honor,

01:56and I had so much fun being there

01:57and met so many amazing people,

01:59and nothing is going to take away

02:03James continued by asking fans to counteract the negativity in his comment section

02:07by replying to someone and complimenting them.

02:10But despite his efforts,

02:11the video still has waves of hate floating in.

02:15Why can't everyone just get along?

02:16And sticking with James Charles,

02:18his drama with Gage Gomez

02:19has brought up some alleged actions from his past.

02:23Recall Gage accused James of sexually harassing him,

02:26forcing James to speak out and defend himself.

02:28Well, now it seems like some old classmates of James

02:31are coming forward to side with Gage in a way.

02:34One user on Twitter retweeted pop alarms

02:36and said throwback to when James Charles

02:38catfished the entire soccer team in high school,

02:41pretending to be a girl so he could get dick pics,

02:43so glad to know he's still predatory.

02:46However, the user doesn't provide proof

02:48they actually knew James in high school,

02:50and we haven't found any members of the soccer team

02:52confirming the accusations,
