00:00First of all, you look incredible. You look like you're your August moon ready.
00:03You know, I was like, I have to show up for the boys. I have to show up for the band. So, yeah, threw this little fit on.
00:09Of course, and you were in the band in the film as well.
00:12So, what was that experience like for you?
00:14Kind of being in a fictionalized, now real life, maybe, boy band? Because you guys are doing pretty well on Spotify.
00:20Thanks. Yeah, it was, um, I honestly didn't know what to expect.
00:23I thought it was such an interesting opportunity, and I think when I was younger, like, being a pop star,
00:29I feel like it's everyone's dream at some point, and I always wanted to have that experience.
00:33But, you know, I love acting and I love dancing, so it took me in a different route.
00:36But, yeah, it was honestly, I was like so excited to have the opportunity to kind of live out that dream,
00:42even if it was not necessarily real, you know? So, yeah.
00:46I love that, because I know there's also been a lot of comparisons between August Moon and One Direction or other boy bands.
00:52Were there any specific boy band members that you took inspiration from, whether One Direction or not?
00:57Yeah, I think, um, yeah, like One Direction, New Kids on the Block, even The Beatles, or, uh, yeah, all those bands,
01:05we kind of wanted to broaden and just look at what all of them cultivate and, like, what they bring.
01:11So, we kind of saw, like, you know, all these boys are so individual, but the group is so, such a group, you know?
01:17So, it's like building that camaraderie while also keeping that individuality.
01:21Um, yeah, so I don't think I necessarily looked at anyone specific, but it was more so, like, pulling, um, pieces and, like, little tidbits and, like, things like that.
01:30If you could be a part of any boy band current or past, which one would it be?
01:35Um, ooh, that's, that's a hard one. I think, honestly, that's, that's, like, I think I would have loved to be a part of Fall Out Boy.
01:45I saw them when I was younger, like, I was probably, like, 10, 12, and I saw them twice, and I've, that sat with me forever, like, the energy and those songs, it just looks so much fun.
01:55So, yeah, I think that'd be a fun one.
