00:00Are you planning to replace Cash Patel?
00:02No, he's doing a good job.
00:04Cash Patel? No, he's doing a great job, I think.
00:08This week we saw those cases against James Comi and Letitia James tossed out.
00:13Do you still have faith in Lindsey Halligan?
00:15No, she's great. I think she's great.
00:17They got out on a technicality, and you'll see what happens from here on.
00:21But if you look at the actual charges,
00:25I think anybody that looks at it very fairly would say, boy, are they guilty.
00:30So let's see what happens over the next week.
00:32You know, the court didn't say you couldn't bring the case,
00:35re-bring the case, or appeal the case.
00:37So they have a lot of options.
00:40They're going to call the shot. I'm not calling the shot.
00:42But Lindsey's a very talented lawyer, actually.
00:45Mr. President, what Venezuela, sir, are you planning to talk to any of the hospital?
00:48I might talk to him. We'll see.
00:51But we're discussing that with the different staffs.
00:57We might talk. What Venezuela?
00:58And just so you know, the U.S. this week did, of course, name him the leader of a foreign terrorist organization.
01:05So why do you want to talk to him?
01:08Say it again.
01:09Maduro, the U.S. designated and the leader of this foreign terrorist organization.
01:14Why do you want to talk to him if he's the leader?
01:16If we can save lives, if we can do things the easy way, that's fine.
01:20And if we have to do it the hard way, that's fine, too.
01:22Mr. President, do you have any reaction if you carry on?
01:25I'm not going to tell you what the goal is.
01:26You should probably know what the goal is.
01:28But they've caused a lot of problems.
01:31And they've sent millions of people into our country.
01:34I mean, they were probably the biggest abuser with Trendy Aragua and all the others.
01:40And they sent in the drug dealers, the drug lords, the people that they sent in, the jail
01:45burglars.
01:46They opened their jails and prisons and dumped them into the United States.
01:50And we're not happy about it.
01:54Mr. President, does there any reaction to Mayor Bowser announcing she's not running for re-election
01:59in D.C.?
01:59Well, I got along with her very well.
02:01I liked her.
02:02We worked together.
02:03D.C. is now a safe community.
02:05It's a great community.
02:06You people know it better than I do because you live there.
02:09But D.C. is now safe.
02:11The restaurants are booming.
02:13The place is booming.
02:14We have no crime.
02:15And we did that all in a period of three or four weeks and then made it better and better
02:19and better.
02:20And now we're setting new records.
02:22I mean, literally, it's as safe as there is anywhere in the country now.
02:26And if you go back a year, it was a very unsafe place.
02:29Before I got here, D.C. was a very unsafe.
02:32And it's our capital.
02:34We have to make it safe.
02:36We're doing really well in Memphis, Tennessee.
02:38And we're doing well in other places.
02:40The one that is really troubling is what's happening in Chicago.
02:45The crime, it's a potentially great city again.
02:48But the governor has totally lost control.
02:51That's where you had the young lady burned.
02:53That's where you had a lot of killings over the last very short period of time.
02:57Killings.
02:58The governor has totally lost control of the state.
03:00And the mayor is grossly incompetent.
03:02They're soiec.
03:03They're soiec.
03:04They're soiec.
03:04The men is in the job.
03:05They're soiec.
03:06That's where you have the fear to escalate.
03:07And the year to killgee, the mayor, the mayor.
03:09You take his care.
03:10Soiec started having fun.
03:27Soiec has hit.
