00:00Burt Breer from MMQB is here. Burt, the Patriots with some injuries. First of all, have you heard

00:06anything about the status of the two offensive linemen? Yeah, I think it's going to be a while

00:10for both. They're lucky in that it looks like neither of them are season ending, but an MCL

00:20in the case of Will Campbell can be tricky coming back from. So you'd think that would be about a

00:29month. And again, I don't know if it's nailed down the firm timeline on that yet. So what's

00:36the process? So outside of the MRI and everything? The MRI and then you come out of it and there's

00:45a little bit of some rehab work. So these things can be, and there's the grades of MCL, which

00:51that's the, I ought to dig into that a little bit more today and find out. But it's the

00:58grade of MCL strain. Right. For one, two, three. Some of them can be like eight weeks. Some

01:02of them can be five weeks. Some of them require surgery. Some of them, yeah. So there's different

01:07grades. And the other thing is that people don't really realize the word sprain means

01:13tear. Oh, well. It's strange. Oh, say it again. A sprain is a tear. Yeah. So a severe MCL

01:21sprain is a tear. Yes. Which requires. Like if you hear a doctor talk about a torn ACL,

01:31they'll say a sprained ACL. So a minor sprain could just be a stretch where it doesn't tear.

01:37It's tear. It's not a full tear. Okay. Yeah. It's like minor. But there's tearing. There's

01:42tearing. There's tearing. And then a major MCL. A full tear is like it snaps. It snaps and you

01:47don't have the ligament anymore. But a severe MCL strain is like you're. Right. If you were

01:52to move on it anymore, it would most likely get worse. Yeah. Yes. And it would get worse.

01:57Both these injuries are injuries that can be made worse. Like the high ankle sprain, which

02:01is like, I wish there was another term for it because it actually is a serious injury.

02:07Because as evidenced with part of the modern treatment for it is an operation where they

02:13so they tightrope the ligaments together. So again, I know audience that you're very sensitive

02:21about the Will Campbell injury and you do not like speculation on it. Yeah. But I just would

02:27like to know that you and I both don't know the severity of the injury.
