00:00Previously on Finding Mr. Christmas.
00:06Say Christmas. Christmas!
00:08Seven holiday hunks were still in the running for a leading role in a Hallmark movie.
00:12I'm going to need a volunteer.
00:14No, Melissa, you can't volunteer.
00:15In the festive face-off, it was Wipeout City.
00:20No!
00:23Then, in the star quality challenge, they strutted their stuff to charm Hallmark superfans.
00:28I'm going to sing a song for you all.
00:30And answer some really tough questions.
00:35What's one thing that you would like to redo?
00:38My mom had a stroke and never woke up, and so I never got that chance to say goodbye.
00:43Some shined.
00:44Are you getting warmed up?
00:45I'm getting kind of hot.
00:46Others, not so much.
00:48I, um...
00:49Angel faced a tough decision.
00:52Will you be keeping the immunity for yourself, or will you be gifting it?
00:56The person that I choose to have this immunity is Robbie.
01:00Craig and Gabe landed in the bottom.
01:05Gabe, you're going home for the holidays.
01:08Now, just six leading men remain as the hunt for Mr. Christmas continues.
01:12It's so nice out, isn't it?
01:19I know.
01:20And this view is beautiful.
01:21Yeah.
01:23Sharing your mom's story last night.
01:24Thank you so much for that.
01:25I really appreciate it.
01:26My mom got diagnosed with cancer right before I'm about to come on the show.
01:31It was literally just like a month and a half ago, and I had to make that decision.
01:35Like, should I come on to the show, or should I go be there with her?
01:38How did she react to that?
01:39And I spoke with her, and she's like, just go do it.
01:43It's not easy.
01:44It's really hard.
01:45I'm really feeling for him, and I know that it's a really difficult thing to go through.
01:51I am so sorry about everything that has been going on, but I'm so happy you shared it,
01:56because sometimes it's hard if people don't really kind of understand it to, like, talk about it or, like, open up about it.
02:02We're in different situations, but I know that, like, the more that I'm able to talk about it,
02:07it helps me move through it and, like, find peace with it.
02:11I already knew Robbie was a good guy.
02:13Just being able to connect with him and find that friendship is amazing.
02:17If you need anything while we're here or you need to talk about your mom,
02:22please know that, like, you can do that.
02:24Same to you, you know, because sometimes even just talking about these memories can be a lot.
02:28For sure.
02:37How did you guys sleep last night?
02:40Yesterday was tough, but, I mean, overall, it's a new day.
02:44I would love to get outside and sweat a little bit, maybe kind of get my nerves out.
02:47Same.
02:48Start a new day fresh, move around a little bit.
02:50Get in your body, out of your head.
02:52The jitter sound.
02:53Yeah!
02:54Like you on stage, yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:56What is one word that y'all are going to, like, bring into today?
03:01Vulnerability, you know?
03:03I came in kind of just willing to go for it, and that's all well and good.
03:09But there's a whole other side to it as well that I need to explore more.
03:13Probably on the opposite end for me, confidence.
03:15I feel like I need more of what you have, you know?
03:17Here, yeah.
03:18Take this.
03:19Hey, all right.
03:21I think we probably all could take something from each other.
03:23I'm waiting on some vulnerability here.
03:25Oh, there you go.
03:25There's some vulnerability.
03:27I'll give a little heart to everybody, you know?
03:29Oh!
03:29Oh, did you hear that?
03:31Hey, let's go!
03:33Being in the bottom two, my confidence was a bit shaken.
03:37The other guys are really talented, and the last couple advantages from the Festa face-offs
03:41have been huge.
03:42They're becoming more and more valuable.
03:44I need one, and I need it now.
03:50Oh, my God.
03:51Look at that.
03:52Are we going in those?
03:53And now, from the Finding Mr. Christmas marching band, please welcome Melissa.
03:59Peterman.
04:00Oh, yeah.
04:00Oh, wow.
04:02Oh, wow.
04:03Oh, wow.
04:03Oh, wow.
04:03Oh, wow.
04:03Oh, wow.
04:04Oh, wow.
04:05Oh, wow.
04:05Hey, guys.
04:10Welcome to the Fa-La-La Lawn.
04:12Let me hear you say it.
04:13Fa-La-La Lawn.
04:14Fa-La-La Lawn.
04:16I hope you stretched, because we're about to have a ball, literally.
04:21Today, you will be rolling into the holiday cheer in giant inflatable ornaments and bowling
04:27down tree-tied treasures like the hunks that you are.
04:30Oh, this challenge is wild.
04:33What are you putting us through, Jonathan Bennett?
04:37Here's how these trees will go down.
04:39In two heats of three, you'll jump into a giant ornament and race to knock down six trees as
04:45fast as you can.
04:46You'll be timed, and the fastest person out of the two rounds will be our winner.
04:51Oh, it's sick.
04:53It's crazy.
04:54Win, and you'll get an advantage in the next star quality challenge.
04:58Our first group up, Marcus, you'll be in red, looking for the trees with the red ribbon.
05:05Okay.
05:06Craig, you'll be blue, looking for the trees with the blue ribbon.
05:10And Davey, you're going to be yellow.
05:13Now, remember, the first person to knock down all their trees wins.
05:17But be careful out there, because if you knock down someone else's color, that person gets
05:22the point.
05:23Marcus, Craig, and Davey, go get ready.
05:25The rest of you can watch on the sidelines.
05:27All right.
05:27Let's go, boys.
05:28Let's go.
05:29Gentlemen, step inside your balls.
05:33Oh, my gosh.
05:35This is real.
05:36But I've been thrown into some fires before and haven't been cooked.
05:39So, I'm ready.
05:41I've definitely never been inside of one of these inflatable balls before.
05:45It makes you automatically feel claustrophobic.
05:48All right, my little hamsters.
05:50On your mark.
05:52Get set.
05:53This is not going to be easy.
05:59We can't actually see where the ribbons are at.
06:01They're facing the opposite direction.
06:03It's kind of crazy.
06:04Go, go.
06:05Oh, oh, oh.
06:06Davey just knocked down one of Marcus's trees.
06:09One for Marcus.
06:10He's a giver.
06:11He's the gift that keeps on giving.
06:13I'm going to have to be a little bit more careful about this.
06:15Go, go, go.
06:16Go, go, go.
06:17Oh.
06:17Oh.
06:18It is just utter chaos inside this ball.
06:25Davey's got one.
06:26There he goes.
06:26Oh, Marcus got one.
06:27Oh, that was aggressive.
06:31Oh, oh.
06:32Davey got another one.
06:33Marcus has gotten two of his down.
06:35Davey's gotten two of his down.
06:36I'm trying to figure out what's the quickest way to run.
06:39And I kind of figure it out.
06:41I put my hands at the top.
06:43And I'm like using that to keep me balanced almost.
06:46I want to make sure that these things break.
06:49Oh, look at that.
06:51Oh, man.
06:52It works better if you're standing up.
06:54Oh, wow.
06:55Oh, wow.
06:55Craig's got one down.
06:57Oh, here comes Davey.
06:58Davey.
06:58Oh, watch out of the way.
07:01Oh, all right.
07:01There goes Craig.
07:04That's two for Craig.
07:06Oh, my God.
07:07Oh, my God.
07:08Oh, my God.
07:09Davey has three.
07:10Marcus has four.
07:12Craig gets another tree.
07:15Another one for Marcus.
07:17Four trees for Craig.
07:18Oh, wow.
07:19Oh, my gosh.
07:21It is a tight race.
07:22This is a very exciting day in sports.
07:25They've all got five.
07:26This is Davey's last one.
07:32Davey wins.
07:35Congratulations, Davey.
07:37Good job, buddy.
07:37I won my heat.
07:39Obviously, there's a second heat, but seeing how far behind Craig and Marcus were was also encouraging.
07:44He said the bar really high.
07:47Yeah, for sure, man.
07:48Round two, Angel, you're going to be green.
07:51Robbie, orange, and Rustin, purple.
07:53I'm really going to have to give it my all.
07:56Hopefully, I can stay safe and not get injured.
07:59Davey did it so fast, and I know in order to beat him, I need to get a time that's better than his.
08:04Okay.
08:06Three, two, one.
08:09Oh!
08:11All right, here they go.
08:12They're coming in hot.
08:13They're coming in hot.
08:14Oh, watch out!
08:15Oh!
08:16Angel got one down.
08:17Oh, my gosh.
08:18I could have died.
08:19Oh, my gosh.
08:20But what a way to go.
08:21Angel's moving.
08:22You'll speak at my funeral, won't you?
08:26Rustin's got one.
08:28Like a wrecking ball.
08:30Robbie's got one.
08:31Oh!
08:32Oh, he just knocked down one of Angel's trees.
08:34Angel is in the lead with two.
08:36Watching Heat 1, I was able to figure out my strategy.
08:39The fastest way between two points is a direct line.
08:42I'm going to hit all the trees on the left, and then I'm going to hit all the trees in the center and on the right on the way back.
08:50Robbie got another one.
08:51Oh, my gosh.
08:53Angel just knocked his third tree down.
08:55These guys are in it to win it.
08:56I'm going at 100 miles per hour.
08:58I'm going wild.
09:00Full throttle.
09:02Rustin's got another.
09:03Angel is on fire.
09:05Angel has got his fourth one down.
09:07Another point for Robbie.
09:10Angel is in the lead with four, and Robbie and Rustin are tied with three.
09:15That's four trees for Robbie.
09:17Angel, don't backtrack.
09:18Hey, Angel, no.
09:19What are you doing?
09:20Angel, you're going the wrong way.
09:23I didn't know if I was forgetting one tree, so I slowed down and lose my momentum.
09:28Angel just had to turn around.
09:29Angel, to your right.
09:31Oh, Rustin.
09:32Oh, Rustin's got another one down.
09:34Robbie's got five trees.
09:37He's in the lead.
09:38Go, Robbie.
09:39Finish up.
09:40There's so much chaos.
09:42Rustin's got another one.
09:44Angel has one more.
09:45There's so many.
09:45I love it.
09:46Jonathan, this is a dream come true.
09:47Angel has two more trees to get down.
09:48Oh, Robbie got his last tree.
09:50Robbie.
09:53Robbie crossed the finish line first.
09:55I'm here with some really physically fit guys, but I've kind of learned that I can do anything
10:06and to not count me out.
10:07The fastest times today were between Davey and Robbie, but it was literally a matter of seconds.
10:15Wow.
10:16Robbie already has the advantage of a lot of experience.
10:20I feel like I really need this one going into the next star quality challenge.
10:24The hunk that took down their trees the fastest is...
10:27Davey, congratulations.
10:34Good job, Davey.
10:36Thanks, fellas.
10:37Good job.
10:37Good job.
10:38Good job.
10:38Good job.
10:39Davey, how's it feel?
10:40You won a festive face off the...
10:41Yeah, it feels good, finally.
10:42I haven't had an advantage yet, so I'm a little bit nervous with what's to come.
10:47Do you want to know what that advantage is now?
10:48Yeah.
10:49Davey, the star quality challenge will be an acting challenge, and you will be able to sit
10:54and watch the other actors perform.
10:56Oh, man.
10:57With me and Melissa.
10:58That's another crazy one.
11:00That's a huge advantage.
11:01So you'll be hearing the notes we're saying, the commentary we're saying, all the things
11:05that we're pointing out that are going right, all the things we're pointing out that are
11:08going wrong.
11:09You'll be able to sit there and listen.
11:11I feel good, I guess, that I got so close.
11:15I'm sticking my feather in that cap, but a feather is not an advantage in the star quality competition.
11:22Coming up, let's run it.
11:23That way we don't waste more time.
11:26Oh.
11:26Really?
11:27Yeah, so originally we were thinking that Rustin took charge.
11:30Who is, like, your guys' leader right now?
11:32I think we've all contributed a significant amount.
11:36Those were awful.
11:38They almost feel like they're overacting a little bit.
11:40Touchdown!
11:40Touchdown!
11:41How old were you when you joined sports?
11:47T-ball.
11:48So, like, the first time you could sign up for youth sports, I was such an introvert and
11:52I was so quiet as a kid.
11:54And I was painfully shy to and kind of through high school and it was sort of sports that
12:00had that built-in sense of community where you automatically have friends.
12:03I felt shy, introverted all through high school because I was chubby and then I got in shape and I still felt introverted.
12:08I felt like I was fake in shape.
12:10Like, it didn't really feel like it was me yet.
12:12Sports was that outlet that kind of forced you to be extroverted.
12:16With every day, I feel like I'm growing so much.
12:19I'm getting closer to the other guys.
12:20We help each other out.
12:21We root each other on.
12:22From the moment I could walk, my parents told me I was always, I liked playing with balls, basketball, baseball, the football, whatever.
12:29A lot of the guys that I was friends with at childhood stopped playing sports.
12:35And a lot of them, you know, unfortunately some of them are gone now.
12:39So sports kept me on the right track and, you know, I definitely wouldn't be here.
12:44So, you know, I'm grateful.
12:45Sports is a good way to stay out of trouble as a kid.
12:47I think for me it kept me out of trouble, you know.
12:49I played Division I college football.
12:51A big part of that is because of my dad.
12:53He pushed me.
12:53There were lots of times where it was challenging.
12:55I set the bar really high for myself and I have high standards for myself.
12:59I expect to do well and if I don't, I get frustrated.
13:04It seems like we're all coming from just drastically different circumstances to lead to the same place, you know.
13:08I really feel like we have such a bond.
13:11It's become a brotherhood really quickly.
13:14You know, I appreciate you guys for that.
13:16It's rare and it's special.
13:18I'm going to miss you all as you keep going one by one.
13:25Let's see what kind of advantage Davey gets.
13:26Is this a smoker?
13:28A beat smoker?
13:30Wow, I like these looks.
13:34Hey guys, welcome to the Christmas block party.
13:36It's time for your annual neighborhood street snowshowl.
13:41Wait, what now?
13:43Snowshowl?
13:43Snowshowl, snow and a social.
13:45I'll take it, I like it.
13:46It's a snowshowl.
13:46We're having a snowshowl.
13:48In this star quality challenge, you guys will work in two teams of three to perform the same script.
13:58Your challenge is to make the scene uniquely your own.
14:01The scene will be set at a merry lane mingle with all the chaos that happens when you bring neighbors together.
14:09Each group will have to decide who plays which part and how you will bring the scene to life.
14:14Through your energy, your choices about what you do and the way you interact with each other.
14:19It's all on you.
14:20It's a hunk production.
14:21Okay, I like that, I like that.
14:23We're looking for great teamwork and while you will work and act together, we want you to each find a way to shine individually.
14:31And to join the fun, this Hallmark star is an actress and producer you've seen in movies like Santa Summit and Holiday Touchdown, A Chief's Love Story.
14:40Is it Hunter?
14:41Is it Hunter?
14:42Is it?
14:43Is it?
14:44It is.
14:46Please welcome Hunter King.
14:47Oh my gosh.
14:52I'm so excited.
14:53Hi guys.
14:54Hi.
14:55She is Hallmark royalty.
14:58I'm so excited to be doing this scene with her.
15:01I'm so excited to be here.
15:02I'm a huge fan of the show.
15:03I can't wait to meet all of you.
15:05Thank you for having me.
15:06We're so excited you're here.
15:07So they're going to be performing a scene in a group with you.
15:11Oh wow.
15:11You know, group scenes are some of my favorites to film.
15:14They're so much fun, but there's a fine balance when you're filming them.
15:17You don't want to upstage your co-stars too much the whole time, but you also don't want to fall into the background.
15:21I sometimes, I like to steal a scene.
15:24You?
15:24Never.
15:25I know you would never believe it, but I do like to steal a scene.
15:30But I will say that there's a way to come in and sparkle and make yourself notice without upstaging somebody.
15:36Wow.
15:36Great.
15:36Team one is Robbie, Rustin, and Marcus.
15:41Okay.
15:42Team two is Davey, Angel, and Craig.
15:45All right.
15:46All right.
15:47Let's go.
15:48Let's get it, boys.
15:48Let's get it.
15:49You'll have one hour to meet with your team and decide how you want to play your scene.
15:54Then you will just have 10 minutes to fill Hunter in before we call action.
15:58Davey, since you won the festive face-off, you're going to sit with Melissa and I while the other group goes first.
16:04Okay.
16:05Here are your scripts.
16:07Determine who's playing which part and think about bringing the scenes to life.
16:12All right.
16:12Good luck.
16:13Good luck.
16:14Think about casting.
16:15Have fun.
16:16All right.
16:16Let's go in and sit down.
16:17Let them do the work.
16:18Yeah, yeah, yeah.
16:18Let's go in.
16:19We already got the job.
16:20Yeah, we're already on the show.
16:26Dude, this scene is a comedy.
16:28Of course it's a comedy.
16:29Absolutely.
16:30This is funny.
16:30So the scene we have to perform today is about two brothers at a neighborhood party meeting their sister who's bringing a boyfriend for the first time.
16:39And we have to choose who's going to play who.
16:42Obviously, brothers.
16:45Yeah.
16:47Boyfriend.
16:47Absolutely.
16:48Any preference on man one or two?
16:51Man two right away says dude.
16:53And I feel like you say dude.
16:54Yeah.
16:54And that was like, all right, there you go.
16:57This is a comedy scene.
16:59So in order for that to come through, you have to have fun.
17:02Like, we're brothers.
17:03Yeah.
17:04Like, that has to come across.
17:05I think so, too.
17:06Yeah.
17:06That brotherly banter, that football slapping your butt, the towel type thing.
17:10Yep.
17:10And then, uh, you're this outsider who, um, you know, let's put you to the test, buddy.
17:16Yeah.
17:16You know, bring it on.
17:17I don't have a sister, but I could imagine.
17:19Growing up, I had an older brother and a younger brother.
17:21We're always giving each other a hard time, joking around, so I'm hoping to kind of bring that out in this scene.
17:27All right, casting.
17:28Is there anyone that drew you guys to anything?
17:32Maybe have us be brothers.
17:33You guys riffing off each other?
17:34Yeah, yeah.
17:35Yeah, so I'll do man one.
17:36And I'll be man two.
17:37I'm jealous that you'll get to be Hunter's boyfriend, but you know what?
17:41You know.
17:42I think you'll be really funny in that part.
17:44Okay, okay.
17:44I like it.
17:45I like it.
17:45I think you can take it.
17:46Yeah, no, I can take it.
17:47I can take it.
17:48Being the new boyfriend, meeting the siblings and the family, I feel like I've done that before, and I feel like I could relate to that character.
17:56The brothers do something devious to mess with man three and ruin the picture.
17:59Leading lady snaps the photo.
18:01We have to have the joke of ruining the picture epic.
18:05Oh, absolutely.
18:05Let's start thinking of ideas, like how can we ruin the picture?
18:09So probably like she's had a lot of other boyfriends that she's like brought home in the past.
18:14Yeah.
18:14And we're always so judgmental because we care about her.
18:17We love her.
18:17She's our little sister.
18:18Little sister.
18:19I think so.
18:19We're caring for her.
18:20So the last few years, I've gotten some really incredible opportunities to direct.
18:24Everything from new plays to big musicals.
18:28Where are we wanting to set up the scene, right?
18:30Like we can probably make a setup here at the table.
18:34Yes.
18:34And I can walk out of the house right there.
18:36I just want to make sure that he's going to be able to hear.
18:38Right.
18:39We can know the lines.
18:40I think that it's incredibly important to be able to throw ideas in the hat and figure this thing out together.
18:47That definitely seems like the best shot, right?
18:50This seems like the most reliable place.
18:53We could frame it up here and you just walk off over into this corner or something along those lines so that you don't actually have to leave.
18:58My instinct would be that someone needs to be the director.
19:02So I do have experience doing this.
19:04Let's just like go through it and just talk through the story a little bit.
19:07We're trying to get all of this down in a very short amount of time, but we have to all be on the same page.
19:13And it's like, what is happening?
19:16Like, what is going on right now?
19:18Coming up.
19:19Yeah.
19:19We're so happy to meet you.
19:22I want them to feel more like brothers.
19:24Yes.
19:24Are you guys going to do the shake really quick too?
19:26Between the two of you?
19:27That was the moment next.
19:28Right.
19:28That's okay.
19:28That's okay.
19:29How did we forget that one?
19:30Team One, your planning time is up.
19:38It's time for your 10-minute rehearsal.
19:41Yeah, we're looking forward to being able to discuss a lot of the stuff that we've already established with you and getting your fresh takes on this.
19:47Yes.
19:47Oh, great.
19:48I'm so excited.
19:48I want to see what you guys have planned.
19:49There's one more layer that we need to add since this is a block party.
19:54Would our background artists please join us?
19:56Come on over here.
19:56Oh, nice.
19:57Hello, hello, hello.
20:00Awesome.
20:01Wow.
20:01Come on in, guys.
20:02Good.
20:03Perfect.
20:04Fantastic.
20:04Break a leg.
20:05Good luck.
20:05Thank you, John.
20:06Let's do it, guys.
20:06All right, let's do it.
20:07Okay.
20:07So, it's a lot of pressure to, you know, tell Hunter kind of what to do because if she's not comfortable in the scene, then it's going to make everything else fall apart.
20:15So, my brothers?
20:17Yes.
20:17My boyfriend?
20:17Yes.
20:18Okay, all right.
20:18What are we thinking?
20:19Yeah, so, originally we were thinking that maybe this was a really good spot, but now that we have a better layout and understanding of where the background actors are and how the food is established,
20:27it's starting to feel like maybe our primary scene should actually be up here in front, right?
20:34I feel like I have a really good understanding of how we should be moving into the scene and out of the scene to make sure that we're getting the shots right for each of us in order to tell the story.
20:43Let's put these drinks over maybe on this table right here.
20:46This table.
20:46Sure.
20:47Rustin took charge.
20:49You have to think in a team mentality.
20:51You're only as good as your weakest link, so I want everyone to shine and bring it.
20:56Who is, like, your guys' leader right now?
20:58Is there, like, one designated leader between you guys?
21:00Is there someone that's kind of the director of the group or is it kind of a group project right now?
21:04It's like a group, yeah.
21:05Okay.
21:05Contributed a significant amount.
21:06Yeah.
21:07Robbie has ideas that he's bringing to the scene and I have ideas that I'm bringing to the scene.
21:11And it's more about just us navigating how those ideas work together.
21:16You guys want to run this really quick?
21:17Yeah.
21:17Let's give it a shot.
21:19What's up?
21:20Who brings eggs to a Christmas party?
21:23Deviled eggs.
21:23They're classic.
21:24And what did you bring?
21:26Brownies.
21:26Like a normal person.
21:28Oh, okay.
21:29Rustin and I have developed a backstory that I'm kind of, like, the tech brother who's, like, really always working all the time on his phone.
21:35And he's maybe, like, the music guy who's a little bit more artsy.
21:38And so, it's a fun kind of specific dynamic that we've created.
21:42Really great to meet you guys.
21:44Um, yes.
21:44Okay, so, Shane, these are my brothers.
21:46Thanks for letting me crash the neighborhood block party.
21:49Knowing that the boyfriend role doesn't have as much screen time as the brothers' roles do, I have to make sure that all the screen time that I have really counts.
21:58If you're comfortable with it.
21:59Yeah.
22:00Because it says, like, a cute, sweet moment.
22:02Like, a little, like, nose thing, like, before we walk away.
22:04Sure.
22:05Yeah, so it'd be, like, a little...
22:06Yeah, we could do that, yeah.
22:06Little nose.
22:07Yeah, yeah.
22:07Cute.
22:08And then, okay, I'll be right back.
22:09And we kind of talked about, like, a look between the three siblings.
22:12Like, we all know these are...
22:13We all have a little bit of a cookie left in the mouth.
22:15Okay.
22:15In this challenge, it's so important to bring our own creative perspective to this.
22:20And so, I'm hoping that our ideas will play out really well.
22:24Great job.
22:25Your time's up.
22:26Go ahead and put your props down.
22:27Get back in place.
22:28It's time to do the scene.
22:29Thank you so much.
22:30We figured it out, and everybody was making sure that they were in front of their camera.
22:34I just got to make sure that I bring it in my own way.
22:36Davey, since you won the advantage, you can join Melissa and I at the monitors.
22:40Totally.
22:41It's great to be in the booth with Melissa and Jonathan, and I'm curious to see what they're
22:45going to come up with.
22:46All right, places!
22:48Top of the show!
22:49Roll sound!
22:50Roll camera!
22:50Everybody, set, settle, and action!
22:59Who brings eggs to a Christmas party?
23:02Deviled eggs?
23:04They're a classic!
23:05What did you bring?
23:06Brownies.
23:06Like a normal person?
23:08Oh, wow.
23:09Oh, it's Leah.
23:11She, uh, she says she's here.
23:12You've never met this guy, right?
23:17Nope, but 20 bucks says he's wearing a polo and khakis.
23:20Nah.
23:21My money's on, uh, stress jeans.
23:24You're on.
23:25Oh, all right.
23:27Okay.
23:28Do we even want to know what you two are shaking on?
23:32Merry Christmas.
23:33Hey, guys.
23:34Merry Christmas.
23:35Get over here, sis.
23:36Good to see you.
23:37May of yourselves.
23:38Okay, uh, you guys, this is Shane.
23:41And Shane, these are my brothers.
23:44It's really great to meet you guys.
23:46Yeah, we're so happy to meet you.
23:50I want them to feel more like brothers.
23:51Yes.
23:52So, uh, what do you got there?
23:54Oh, cookies.
23:54I baked them myself.
23:56But you guys should probably know I've never actually used the oven,
23:58so I don't know if they're actually going to turn out very good.
24:01Oh, a risk taker.
24:03I like it.
24:04Hey, I am sure they're going to be delicious.
24:06Maybe you guys should try one before I set them out.
24:11Yeah?
24:11Oh.
24:11Yeah.
24:12Yeah.
24:14Come on, guys.
24:16There we go.
24:16Thanks.
24:17Yeah.
24:19Mmm.
24:20Mmm.
24:21Mmm.
24:21I love how they take their time.
24:23Milk this moment.
24:24Mmm.
24:24Mmm.
24:25Yeah?
24:25Mm-hmm.
24:26Yeah.
24:27These are...
24:28There's something.
24:32There, but like nothing I've tasted before.
24:35There.
24:35So good.
24:37You guys are lying.
24:39They're terrible, aren't they?
24:40Mmm.
24:40Mmm.
24:41Mmm.
24:41Mmm.
24:41Mmm.
24:42Baby, they're...
24:43They're really...
24:44So good.
24:45Yeah.
24:46I'm just...
24:47Well, I'm really thirsty.
24:48Would you mind giving me something to drink?
24:49Sure thing.
24:52Mmm.
24:52I'll be right back.
24:53Mmm.
24:54Those were awful.
25:02What did he put in those?
25:03Rubbing alcohol?
25:04Oh, come on, you guys.
25:06Please.
25:06I said to be nice.
25:07Now, see, this is why I never introduce you to anybody.
25:10What do you mean?
25:11We're nice.
25:12We are always kind to your boyfriends.
25:14Really?
25:15Because the last time I brought a guy home for Christmas, you lured him into the backyard
25:18when the sprinkler system was on.
25:22That was an innocent mistake.
25:24How did we know that Mom kept the sprinklers on in the middle of winter?
25:28Yeah.
25:28They almost feel like they're overacting a little bit, these two.
25:31Can we just go easy on him, please?
25:32I figured you guys could use one after having to eat those cookies.
25:38No!
25:39No!
25:40They're just like...
25:40Good, good.
25:41Guys, guys, guys, guys.
25:43It's okay.
25:44I forgot to put the sugar in the cookies.
25:48That tracks.
25:49Mmm.
25:50It happens.
25:52It's the thought that counts, babe.
25:54What do you guys say we take a little selfie to commemorate me bombing the first introduction?
26:00All right.
26:00That's a great idea.
26:01I'll take it.
26:02Ready?
26:03Say Merry Christmas.
26:05Merry Christmas.
26:09Have fun with that.
26:10Your brothers look stupid.
26:11Go for it.
26:12Make me laugh.
26:13Make us laugh.
26:14And I would like to propose a toast to new friends.
26:19Yeah, dude, don't worry about the cookies, man.
26:20We're happy to have you.
26:22Aw, thanks, guys.
26:24Okay, I'm going to send our selfie to everyone really quick.
26:30Really?
26:30You guys, that is so immature.
26:33God, really?
26:35Hey, come back here.
26:37Oh, you are nothing but trouble.
26:39I think I'm going to need another one of these.
26:43And cut.
26:48What did you learn?
26:49A lot.
26:50Take your time.
26:51Don't rush.
26:51Don't rush.
26:52Do you have brothers?
26:53Yeah.
26:53Yes.
26:53Do you guys give each other, like...
26:54Totally.
26:55Do you know that?
26:56We're going to be channeling through that.
26:56I want you and Craig to be the people that we love to hate.
26:59Yeah.
26:59Robbie and Rustin didn't necessarily bring the same kind of brotherly energy that I knew Craig
27:04and I were going to bring, so I think that'll play to our advantage.
27:08This is going to be fun.
27:09Yeah, yeah.
27:10Let's go.
27:10Have fun.
27:10Have fun.
27:11Have fun.
27:11Have fun.
27:11You got this.
27:12Pretty cute.
27:13Hold on.
27:14Coming up, there was some sort of power struggle happening.
27:17Merry Christmas!
27:18Oh, I think it's raining, guys.
27:21One of you out-acted the other just by a hair.
27:30Wow.
27:31That was fast.
27:33That was quick.
27:34The moment when we eat the cookies, like, really take your time.
27:38Taste the cookie.
27:40Yeah, rather than bite nasty.
27:41You got to taste it first.
27:43With the advantage, I also feel like it comes with a little bit of extra pressure.
27:45There's probably going to be some expectations to perform.
27:49For the photo, the photo bomb it.
27:51However big you can, you know, without, like, disrupting the scene.
27:54So I kind of hashed out some last-minute things to prove to myself and to everybody else that I belong here.
28:00Hi, guys.
28:01Hey, ladies.
28:01Hey, team two.
28:02Davey, your team has 10 minutes to rehearse.
28:05Okay.
28:05Perfect.
28:06Good luck.
28:06Now, is there, like, a leader?
28:08Is everyone working together as a team?
28:09Working together as a team.
28:10Yeah.
28:11Okay.
28:11Yeah.
28:11All right.
28:12I love it.
28:12Do you want to show me what you guys have planned so far?
28:14Yeah.
28:14Okay.
28:15Going into rehearsal, I'm not worried about me.
28:18I want to make sure my guys are going to shine.
28:21If they start shining, Hunter and I are going to shine.
28:25Before we start the rehearsal, we need to find our marks because we have our cameras.
28:31Yeah, we should get our cameras.
28:32And this is the Y.
28:33I helped co-direct this short film.
28:36Having that experience, I know how to hit certain marks and make sure the camera can see us.
28:43She'll end right here and here, and that way we both have our cameras.
28:46Okay.
28:46So it'll be kind of maybe one of these lines?
28:48Sure.
28:48I'm more or less letting Angel dictate a lot of the situation with this scene.
28:52Take the lead.
28:53Cool.
28:53Let's run it.
28:54That way we don't waste more time.
28:55Okay, cool.
28:56And I feel good about us.
28:58Ready?
28:59Yep.
28:59I want to immediately establish the fact that we are brothers.
29:03So we decided to improv a couple lines at the very top of the scene.
29:07Nice outfit, man.
29:08Did mom dress you up in that?
29:09Yeah, probably.
29:10You got a blazer?
29:12You running for office?
29:13Or what's going on?
29:13Watch the camera.
29:15What's going on?
29:16Craig and Davey, if you don't mind.
29:17Go ahead.
29:19Do your scene to your cameras.
29:21Set this up and find a moment that brings you back here.
29:24Yeah, yeah.
29:25Looking at the space so then when we come in, you don't block our cameras.
29:29Yeah.
29:29You have to find your camera so it can see the faces.
29:33I'm starting to sweat.
29:34Not because of the weather, but because of how this is going to turn out.
29:39Nice outfit, man.
29:40Mom dress you up in that?
29:41Yeah.
29:41Probably.
29:42There is a lot happening here.
29:45It's a group ensemble, a bunch of dialogue.
29:47Are you guys going to do the shake really quick, too, between the two of you?
29:50That was the moment next.
29:51Right.
29:51That's okay.
29:52That's okay.
29:53Because I got to reference your shake.
29:55How did we forget that one?
29:56I'm just hoping that I can latch on and do the best I can.
30:00And Shane, these are my brothers.
30:01Shane.
30:02Hey, Shane.
30:02What's going on, Shane?
30:03It's great to meet you guys.
30:04Yeah.
30:04What do you got there?
30:06Cookies.
30:07I baked them myself.
30:08The success of a scene isn't just about one person.
30:11It's about all of us.
30:12So Craig and I are kind of trying to lean into the playful brother act without being overly obnoxious.
30:18Everybody say Merry Christmas.
30:20Merry Christmas.
30:21It finally started to come together.
30:23You guys are so immature.
30:27I guess I'm going to need another one of these.
30:29Here we go.
30:30Let's do it.
30:31Now we have to kind of bring this thing to life.
30:33I'm hoping we don't commit the same mistakes.
30:36And action.
30:38Hey, dude, really loving that outfit.
30:40Did mom dress you up in that?
30:41Nope.
30:42Dressed myself.
30:42What's up with the blaze?
30:43Are you in your eggs running for office?
30:45Or, I mean, who brings eggs to a Christmas party?
30:48Deviled eggs.
30:49Literally classic.
30:50What do you got?
30:50Brownies?
30:51Yeah.
30:52I got brownies.
30:53Like a normal person.
30:55Whatever.
30:56Oh, it's Leah.
30:57Huh.
30:58She said they're here.
30:59Hey, have you actually met this guy?
31:01No.
31:0220 bucks, though, says he's a polo khakis kind of guy.
31:07My money's on distressed jeans.
31:08Yeah?
31:09You're on.
31:10Oh, there they are.
31:10Oh, here.
31:11Hey.
31:12Oh, do I even want to know what you two are shaking on?
31:14No, you don't.
31:14No.
31:15Okay, please behave.
31:16Yeah, yeah.
31:17You guys, this is Shane.
31:19Oh, Shane.
31:19Shane, these are my brothers.
31:21Hey, Shane.
31:22What's going on?
31:22Hey, Shane.
31:23How are you?
31:24It was really great to meet you guys.
31:25What do you got there?
31:26Some cookies?
31:27Cookies.
31:28Yeah, looks like it.
31:28I baked them myself, but I've never actually used my oven before, so...
31:33I'm...
31:34Sure, why not?
31:38Thanks.
31:39Let me know what you think.
31:40Hmm.
31:42Wow.
31:44Hmm, that's...
31:45That's something.
31:47Hmm.
31:48Yep.
31:49It's so good.
31:50Craig is so good.
31:51I'm a little thirsty.
31:52Would you mind getting me something to drink?
31:54Sure thing, baby.
31:55Okay.
31:55Davey is coming alive.
32:02It totally tastes like rubbing up.
32:03That was nasty.
32:04You guys, no, come on.
32:05I said you had to be nice.
32:07See, this is why I never introduce you to anybody.
32:10We are nice.
32:11Really?
32:12Because the last guy that I brought home for Christmas, you lured him outside in the backyard
32:15when the sprinkler system was on.
32:17Whoa, that was an innocent mistake.
32:19I mean, how were we supposed to know that mom puts the sprinklers on in the winter?
32:21Who does that?
32:22Yeah.
32:23Okay, well, look, I really like them, so just...
32:25All right, all right, all right, all right, all right.
32:26I figure everyone needed one after having to eat those cookies.
32:29Oh.
32:30I made an honest mistake.
32:31I forgot to put the sugar in.
32:34All right, it's an honest mistake, guys.
32:36All right, thanks.
32:36What do you say if we fish these cookies and the four of us take a selfie to commemorate
32:43me totally bombing our first introduction?
32:46Let's go for it.
32:47Yeah.
32:47Yeah.
32:48Go on that side.
32:48Go on that side.
32:49Go on that side.
32:49Go on that side.
32:50All right, everyone say Merry Christmas.
32:52Merry Christmas.
32:54Oh, I think it's very nice.
32:56Oh.
32:57Oh.
32:57He poured the drink on his head.
33:00Brilliant, Davey.
33:01Don't worry about the cookie thing.
33:02We're...
33:03Yeah.
33:03We're glad you're here.
33:04Thank you, guys.
33:05You really are the best.
33:07Hey, okay, I'm going to send the selfie to everybody real quick.
33:11Yeah.
33:13Come on, you guys.
33:14It's so immature.
33:16Really?
33:16Hey, get back here.
33:18Hey.
33:18I think I'm going to need another one of these.
33:23Nice.
33:24And cut.
33:25Dude.
33:28There they are.
33:29Hey, guys.
33:29Hey.
33:30How you feeling?
33:30How'd it go?
33:32How'd it go?
33:33Oh, that's a confident looking guy right there.
33:34Yeah, yeah.
33:35I know, I know.
33:36How you guys feeling?
33:36Hey, hey, hey.
33:37Bro, I always feel confident after.
33:40Davey's advantage really helped us out, and I think we crushed that scene.
33:44But Robbie, Rustin, and Marcus, they're really strong.
33:46So, I mean, this is a coin toss.
33:49As far as, like, that selfie moment, I was pretending to spill my drink on Angel, and I
33:53actually, like, spilled a little bit of it.
33:54After we were done with it, I was like, I hope my hair is okay.
33:57He was a great sport about that.
34:00Let's talk about team one.
34:02Robbie, Rustin, and Marcus.
34:04I felt like Marcus did a really good job playing that boyfriend role, because the
34:08other two brought a lot of energy and a lot of strong choices.
34:11I do wish Marcus maybe brought up his energy just a little bit, like you said, in that
34:16nervous, matched the room a little bit.
34:18Robbie did feel like he was overacting.
34:20I wanted maybe to see that more, um, I actually love my sister.
34:25A little bit of a real moment, like, you know what?
34:28We love you.
34:28A little bit more of that.
34:30Yeah.
34:30Agreed.
34:30Now, for me, this was the first time where Rustin and Robbie, I felt, were disconnected
34:36in a scene.
34:37And I think it's because they had a little bit of a challenge with the leadership of
34:41this scene.
34:42It just felt like there was some sort of power struggle happening.
34:46Let's talk about team two.
34:48Davey, Craig, and Angel.
34:50There was a few times I thought that Davey could have, um, reacted more and stayed in
34:54it and filled the space.
34:56Yeah.
34:56Because Craig was giving him so much comedy, so much gold.
35:00He could have reacted to the other actors more in that scene.
35:04Agreed.
35:04Yeah.
35:05Agreed.
35:05Craig came in hot.
35:07I think he's so funny.
35:08And you know, I'm a sucker for a funny guy.
35:10The faces he made, the choices he made.
35:13Did mom pick that out?
35:14That was really smart.
35:15I love that.
35:15It established their relationship immediately.
35:17He felt super present.
35:18I felt like that the whole time from him.
35:20I really enjoyed his performance.
35:22And what about Angel?
35:23He was a great team player.
35:25Yeah.
35:26The one thing with Angel is I think sometimes he can lose a little bit of the momentum in
35:34the scene.
35:34Uh-huh.
35:35We have a big decision to make, but unfortunately, one of our guys has to go home.
35:40No.
35:42Good luck with that, Hunter.
35:43Good luck, Hunter.
35:44Oh, I have a tummy.
35:45Yeah, we're going to leave this up to you.
35:46No, you stay right here.
35:47You stay right here.
35:47Bye-bye now.
35:48And you come with it.
35:49Bye-bye.
35:49Yeah, let's go.
35:50Bye-bye.
35:50Bye, Hunter.
35:51Bye.
35:51Have fun making the decision.
35:52All by yourself.
35:54I think we get rid of Jonathan, right?
35:57No?
35:58Okay.
36:07Walking into each elimination now, there's no more feeling safe.
36:12There's no more feeling confident.
36:13We're getting down to the nitty-gritty, and anyone can go at any time.
36:17Hello, gentlemen.
36:18One of you will be named this week's shining star, and one of you will be headed home for
36:24the holidays.
36:26In today's star quality challenge, we asked you to work as a team, help each other shine,
36:31bring your own twist to the script, and show us your star quality, all while staying connected
36:36to each other, and your incredible co-star, Hunter King.
36:40Hunter, how do you think the guys did?
36:42I think they all did a really great job.
36:44It was so much fun getting to work with them and watch them grow as actors.
36:48There can only be one shining star tonight.
36:50And that person was a team player, used their gift of acting to elevate their co-stars,
36:58and the person that added comedy along with believability when it came to portraying brothers.
37:05The winner of the star quality challenge and tonight's shining star is...
37:15Craig, congratulations.
37:19I think you really shined in that scene, and you had great instincts.
37:30I thought I was gone, man.
37:37I've been doing this a long time now.
37:40You audition, and you audition, and you audition, and you audition, and you audition.
37:45It gets exhausting.
37:47Yeah.
37:47Well, congratulations.
37:49You were very, very funny in this scene.
37:53Angel and Davey, you're safe.
37:58Rustin.
38:00Marcus, Robbie, one of you will be going home.
38:07Okay.
38:08Robbie, how do you feel this challenge was for you today?
38:11Right at the beginning, I thought that there maybe should be one voice.
38:15But then I thought, actually, for this, it was really nice to work collaboratively with my team,
38:21for us all to have a say.
38:23Rustin, tell me about the part you played in your team.
38:26I felt that Robbie and I were really in sync.
38:28There was a lot of overlap that made it feel like we were both really, like, on the same page.
38:33I felt like Marcus was such a team player, and he had some great collaborative recommendations.
38:38And I almost felt like watching you guys interact with each other gave me that thing to act off of.
38:45Okay.
38:45Yeah.
38:46That makes sense.
38:50Rustin.
38:53Robbie.
38:55Will you please step down?
38:56In today's challenge, you both were at fault for competing with each other when we asked to work as a team.
39:05That leaves us to judge you purely on your acting in the scene today.
39:10And one of you out-acted the other just by a hair.
39:14One of you will be going home right now.
39:21I'm not ready to go home.
39:23I want to stay here.
39:25My palms are sweaty.
39:26I'm so close to having a dream, like, a slip through my fingertips.
39:30Unfortunately, Robbie, it's time to take your stocking down.
39:41You're going home for the holidays.
39:47This has been, like, a life-changing experience.
39:50You have been such an important person to me for so long,
39:53and to have been picked by you to come here
39:56is beyond my wildest dreams.
40:00And I just want to make you proud.
40:10You made me proud.
40:12And you made our community proud.
40:15That means the world to me.
40:21Yes.
40:23Give it up for Robbie.
40:29Love you, Robbie.
40:30Love you, Robbie.
40:31The thing that I didn't know about being here
40:33is just how close I was going to feel with the other guys.
40:36They're so wonderful.
40:38And to be accepted by all of these guys is so meaningful.
40:43I know it seems cliche, but you have to follow your dreams.
40:46You have to go do it.
40:47You have one life.
40:48You have to shoot for the moon,
40:49and if you miss, you'll land among the stars.
40:51I didn't make it to the moon.
40:53But I'm definitely landing among the stars.
40:55We're at the stage now of splitting hairs,
41:01so you've got to bring it to every challenge.
41:04We'll see you next time as we continue the search to find Mr. Christmas.
41:09I don't think anybody saw this one coming.
41:15Robbie has been a big-time player from day one.
41:18We're down to the final five now.
41:20This is serious.
41:21It's anyone's game.
41:22We'll see you next time.
41:52We'll see you next time.
