00:00J Balvin apologizes for his para music video after removing it from YouTube.
00:08Plus, Drake shares how he used to have to fake it to make it.
00:15Hey guys, it's Ali for Hollywood Life with your music roundup and we're going to start with Saweetie because she's booked and busy.
00:22Last week, the Bay Area rapper was seen at the Lakers season opener chatting with the lovely Adele and snapping some pictures.
00:29We hope this means a collaboration could be coming soon.
00:32We spoke with Saweetie at the Odyssey's 8th annual We Can Survive benefit concert this weekend and she revealed to HL exclusively that it would be really cool to work with a UK singer.
00:44Saweetie also shared some context behind the photo moment and revealed that taking pics is her hobby and she loves being behind the camera.
00:53In fact, she's pretty cool with the Lakers organization and, according to her, being a Tumblr girl plays its part when it comes to shooting some great content.
01:02Alright, but now let's jump into this J Balvin news.
01:05The singer released a statement on his Instagram story yesterday after receiving backlash for his para music video, which was removed from YouTube last week.
01:14Some of the visuals in the video show J Balvin tugging at two black women on leashes and visuals of a group of black people that were made up to look like dogs.
01:23While he was receiving criticism from fans, the Colombian Vice President and Chancellor Marta Lucia Ramirez also called the visuals sexist, racist, machista and misogynistic in an open letter.
01:33Since then, J Balvin has apologized on his Instagram story and stated that he is about, quote, tolerance, love and inclusivity.
01:40Okay, but switching gears a bit to our favorite Scorpio.
01:43Yesterday, Drake turned 35 years old and took to Instagram to reflect on a very special gift that he received.
01:48The October's very own star revealed that back in 2007, he would scrape up $5,000 every month just to rent a Rolls-Royce car to, quote, keep up with appearances or, in other words, fake it till you make it.
02:01In light of this, Drake shared that his longtime friend and manager, Future the Prince, purchased that same car to highlight where it all started.
02:09Now, I know what you're probably thinking. Drake has multiple Rolls-Royces by now.
02:13But according to the Six God himself, this and all the birthday wishes he received was the only gift he ever needed.
02:20Happy birthday to the champagne poppy.
02:22But you guys know what to do. Hit the sub, like and bell button.
02:24Follow me on social media at Ali Spagnita and stick with us for the latest.
