00:00Lauren and I, in our post-show meeting earlier this week, we have a board of different ideas
00:10we want to do, and we had this one on the board for a long time, and we said, screw
00:14it, let's just do it on Friday.
00:16You guys always, you and the staff always get a kick out of my proposal story, and it
00:20doesn't sound nearly as warm and heartfelt as it is, but I got down on a knee at a cemetery
00:31and proposed to my wife, Amanda.
00:34Yeah, that sounds creepy.
00:36Upon first look.
00:39Very gothy.
00:40Yeah.
00:40Very Edgar Allan Poe, which you know I'm all about.
00:43But then, once you hear the story behind it, you're like, oh, that's really sweet.
00:48Thank you, Lauren.
00:48And then, it twists again, and you find out that Amanda's mom told me not to do that,
00:55and he did it anyway.
00:57Which is a sign of our relationship and the tug and pull with my mother-in-law, but I love
01:03her to death.
01:03I love my mother-in-law.
01:04She's awesome.
01:05But yes, so Amanda's dad had passed away probably three years before I met her, and so I said
01:13to her, I got the ring, and I said to her, take me by your dad's cemetery plot.
01:19I'm just curious.
01:19So she's like, okay.
01:21So he went by, and sure enough, when we were talking, I said, do you think he would like
01:25me?
01:25And she's like, oh, yeah, he totally would.
01:27I go, then he would probably be okay if I did this.
01:29And I got down on a knee in front of a cemetery plot, and a thunderbolt struck, and I'm not
01:35even joking.
01:36And I love the fact that you are so naively optimistic in life that you took that as a
01:43good sign, because the majority of people would be like, don't strike me down.
01:49I love the fact that you are so naively optimistic in life that you are so naively optimistic in life that you are
