At the 'Andor' premiere, Benjamin Norris talks to THR about what it was like joining the show for its second season. Plus, he recalls what it was like stepping into the set.

00:00What has it been like stepping into the Star Wars universe for season two of Andor?
00:03It's a dream come true both Star Wars and Andor, you know one of the most
00:09prestigious Star Wars IP of all time and yeah it was it's pinch myself moment.
00:16Do you remember what your first day on set was like stepping into the world for
00:21the first time? Yeah great question we were due we did very intense rehearsals
00:26leading up to it but I remember the moment I stepped onto the actual set for
00:31the first time we visited set and it's a 360 set so everything was real there was
00:35no green screen or anything so once you step foot onto it it just it you were
00:39transported to a different planet even though it was in London and it was it was
00:44very special. Diego Luna has said that this season will make Rogue One a different
00:49film for Star Wars fans how do you think that's true? I mean it's entirely true
00:54right like this is gonna lead right up until Rogue One starts and we're just
00:58gonna get the entire context for why Rogue One is the way it is and I think I
01:04mean if people are really hardcore I mean I I think people should just watch season
01:09one then season two and go right into Rogue One do a marathon you know it's
01:12important it's important stuff. Now May the 4th is coming up so we're asking
01:16people what's your favorite Star Wars movie? I'm a big fan of The Return of the
01:22Jedi the Endor the planet of Endor with the Ewoks that's my favorite planet in
01:29Star Wars growing up it's I used to pretend like I was on that planet riding
01:34the little hover bikes so that would be my favorite one yeah. And this show is so
01:40beloved by fans why do you think it's resonated with them in the way that it
01:43has? I think I think the way I think the way this Star Wars kind of differs from
01:50other Star Wars is it has its fair share of fun don't get me wrong but I think
01:55it's saying something and I think I think people kind of see eye to eye with it
02:01and it's just it's just really cool really really cool and really important
02:07and it's so well written Tony Gilroy so well written yeah thank you so much
