00:12Hey guys, it's Allie for Hollywood Life with your pop star roundup,
00:15starting with Ariana Grande.
00:16Although the pop superstar doesn't have a TikTok yet,
00:19that isn't stopping her team from launching a new challenge on the platform.
00:23Inspired by her Thank You Next fragrance,
00:25fans are being encouraged to spritz away anything in their life
00:28that brings them down, and tag it hashtag Thank You Next spritz.
00:32Unfortunately, everyone that enters the challenge
00:34will be overshadowed by Ari's doppelganger, Paige Neiman.
00:37Moving on to a Billie Eilish story that proves the internet overreacts to everything.
00:42The singer admitted to not knowing who Van Halen are,
00:45and social media lit her on fire as if she's not 17.
00:48The band's biggest hits came out before she was even born,
00:51and even though music is more accessible than ever thanks to streaming,
00:54it doesn't mean she had to sit down and listen to everything that came out
00:57since the dawn of time.
00:59Wolfgang Van Halen, son of the guitar god Eddie Van Halen,
01:02reacted to the Billie backlash on Twitter and said,
01:04If you haven't heard of Billie Eilish, go check her out.
01:06She's cool.
01:07If you haven't heard of Van Halen, go check them out.
01:09They're cool.
01:10Music is supposed to bring us together, not divide us.
01:12Listen to what you want, and don't shame others for not knowing what you like.
01:16But alright, let's talk about some other Billie Eilish backlash
01:18that makes a little more sense.
01:20Well, I guess it's more Drake backlash in this case,
01:22because in a recent interview with Vanity Fair,
01:24Billie revealed Drake texts her, and fans think it's creepy.
01:28Drizzy's 33 and probably knows who Van Halen are,
01:31while Billie is 17 and doesn't know.
01:33They can't possibly work out romantically.
01:35But all jokes aside, some users on Twitter have been voicing their concerns
01:38that people are too focused on Billie's lack of Van Halen knowledge
01:41instead of her private conversations with a grown man.
01:44And I know I just said all jokes aside, but one user tweeted,
01:47First, Drake is caught texting minors Billie Eilish and Millie Bobby Brown.
01:50Next, he's caught texting Baby Yoda.
01:52I'm a little baby.
01:54But okay, last week we told you about rumors that The Weeknd was releasing a song
01:57about Selena Gomez soon.
01:59This all started after the ASCAP website listed The Weeknd as the writer
02:03and performer of the track registered under the name Like Selena.
02:07However, this week several outlets are reporting that ASCAP has taken down the page
02:11with the song's information.
02:13So I guess it was just a false alarm.
02:15Get it?
02:16Because he has a song called...
02:17One day, you'll all admit, I'm a comedic genius.
02:21She's a genius.
02:22But alright guys, hit the sub, like, and bell button.
