00:05Nobody's gonna suspect a thing.

00:06We're just geeks doing what geeks do.

00:08The coming-of-age story about three music geeks actually stars...

00:12Three music geeks.

00:13Because my music is very poetic.

00:15I love music. I play instruments.

00:19I have my project coming out called 30058.

00:22Get ready for that.

00:24Dope marks the acting debut for model Chanel Iman and rapper A$AP Rocky,

00:29who kind of landed the role by accident.

00:31His girlfriend at the time was auditioning for the movie,

00:35and he was helping her with her auditioning process.

00:38And so during that, I read the script and was like,

00:42oh my goodness, you know, I really love this.

00:44I want to be a part of it.

00:45You might recognize Blake Anderson from TV

00:47or from his occasional appearances as a Sean White impersonator.

00:52I have the hair.

00:53Me and Sean were close friends.

00:55I've been to his Halloween party.

00:56He gave me some tips.

00:57He's also in this movie.

00:58You can call me N-word, and I can't say it.

01:01Technically, he shouldn't be able to say the word.

01:03Why can't he use it?

01:04Okay, because I'm 14% African.

01:06Dope hits theaters Friday.
