00:00How did you leave as a family?
00:07People have this impression that you left.
00:10I left. When Eman passed,
00:12Feli was in the States. She was in Florida
00:15for a pickleball tournament.
00:17And then when we heard that there was a problem,
00:20she was able to make some phone calls
00:23and go to LA when needed.
00:25I was in the Philippines because I was working.
00:28I left L.A. two days after Eman's death.
00:33But when I got there,
00:35Jose's son was amazing.
00:37He manned up.
00:38With Feli, he was able to go to the coroner.
00:41There were a lot of papers that needed
00:44when you died in America.
00:46The death certificate.
00:48They had my Eman cremated.
00:52It was Jose who was with the mom all the time.
00:54He was only 23-24 years old
00:56but he manned up.
00:58Did I believe in him?
00:59Did I believe in Jose's son?
01:01I came there.
01:03At least when I went there,
01:05I was with my family.
01:07I was leaving.
01:08I was leaving.
01:09I was leaving the ashes of Eman from the aeroplano.
01:13And I was able to come home with Eman already.
01:16Okay.
01:17So that's the reason why you went abroad.
01:19It was not like after the wake you traveled.
01:22No, no.
01:23It was really for Eman.
01:25Really for Eman.
01:26Eman.
01:27And my children came back to America
01:28because they were studying there.
01:29Jose and Eliana were able to go back to the States.
01:32But Jose had a Thanksgiving break.
01:35Jose is back in Manila.
01:37He'll be here for two weeks.
01:38Eliana is there in Pennsylvania.
01:41And we'll see her on Pasko.
01:43Then, learnings?
01:45Realizations?
01:47Nothing.
01:50I'm so thankful that I have the Lord, boy.
01:54I'm so thankful that I discovered Jesus Christ early on in 2013.
01:58Because if not for the Lord, there's nothing else to hold on to now.
02:04The Lord is close to the broken hearted
02:06and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
02:08And I've never been as broken as I am now.
02:10I've never been as heartbroken as I am now.
02:13Yet, despite the pain and despite the grief, I have peace.
02:16I have peace.
02:17I have peace that God or Jesus Christ is walking with me.
02:21And I know that nothing is an accident.
02:24This is all for good purpose.
02:26It may be painful now.
02:27It may hurt me now.
02:28But I know this is for good.
02:30That Eman did not die in vain.
02:33Her death was not beautiful.
02:36Yet, this will turn out beautiful.
02:38I know.
02:39And that gives me hope.
02:40And assuming that I'm in pain,
02:42what's 30 years of my life?
02:44In 30 years, I'm going to be with Eman and the Lord forever.
02:49So I'm looking at that.
02:50And that gives me hope and it gives me peace.
02:52Peace, moe.
02:53Peace, moe.
02:54Peace, moe.
02:55Peace, moe.
02:57Peace, moe.
