00:00An UMNO leader has taken a swipe at PAS and the head of its Sabah chapter, Ali Akbar Gulasan,

00:06over the latter's decision to stay on as a nominated assemblyman appointed by the Sabah government.

00:12In a Facebook post, UMNO Supreme Council member Fazar Kashi said Ali Akbar should have made the dignified decision

00:19to relinquish the post to which he was appointed in 2020 after Gabungan Rakyat Sabah started backing Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

00:26The Johor Assemblyman also said PAS was a hypocrite for staying silent on Ali Akbar's position

00:31while criticizing GRS leaders who left Bersatu and Perikata National after the 2022 general election.

00:39He claimed that Ali Akbar had no principles and only cared about being an appointed assemblyman

00:43as he was never elected by the people.

00:46Following G15, Hajji had led an exodus of Sabah Bersatu leaders as they stated support for Anwar

00:52and took over Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah.

00:55Meanwhile, Ali Akbar stayed on as a nominated assemblyman, a role given by the Sabah government

01:01even after GRS roped Pakatan Harpan into the state administration.

01:06Pohad added that when the seven Bersatu MPs stated support for the Prime Minister,

01:10they were urged to vacate their seats and as a PN member, PAS should have done the same to Ali Akbar.
