00:00i'll say this joe the indianapolis cults being booked as favorites to win the afc

00:05is outrageous and unjustifiable there's no way you could look me in the face and tell me the

00:13indianapolis cults should be afc favorites no not at all i agree especially after they lose on the

00:19road yesterday here here is the question though i think when you look at both sides if we would

00:24have asked 100 people 100 of them probably would have said kansas city needs the game they would

00:29have won right uh-huh and would have probably have said they would have won in dominating fashion i

00:35don't think that if you were picking kansas city you you thought they were going to struggle and just

00:40get by by a field goal so when you look at the performance and you say man this team had nine

00:45points basically heading into the fourth quarter at home against a good defense but certainly we're

00:51not calling indianapolis uh the cleveland browns and and that front seven right you know teams have

00:56exposed them throughout the regular season and yet they held this team in check at home in a must

01:03win type of game so when you talk about consistency when you talk about home field advantage and you

01:09talk about andy reed and pat mahomes clearly they were on life support yesterday and again i just think

01:15it came down to indy is still a young team trying to figure it out and didn't have that killer instinct

01:22to really put the nail in the coffin and that's why when i look at the game and i say okay yeah

01:27kansas city won they should have won but they they really struggled this game goes into overtime

01:32and jonathan taylor only has 58 yards on the ground and you say to yourself they win it by three right i

01:39mean they couldn't turn over daniel jones in the back end at all no i mean that's my point when we when

01:45we talk about the weaknesses of indianapolis big picture playoff type of team you worry about daniel

01:51jones you worry about this team from a defensive perspective and they brought it in a must win game

01:56they just couldn't close it out i again i i would believe more in indy now right so after that

02:04performance i'm gonna push back you could push back but but i i don't disagree with you saying that

02:11they should be not booked as number one okay but i i would still back them on a road type of

02:16environment in a playoff type of situation here here's why i disagree right i think now i feel

02:21pretty confident the colts at home would not be booked as favorites over kansas city or buffalo

02:28or baltimore for that matter i don't believe that's how the books would treat it and i don't think there's

02:33a path for the colts to be hosting new england or denver so i don't see a path for

02:41the colts to be booked as a round two favorite how in the world are they the favorites in the

02:45conference oh they would would you make them you wouldn't make them favorite over drake may and

02:49and not in new england okay they're not hosting new england right you got to look at it now you

02:55have an eight and three colts team right who has four games left against the jags and texans

03:02with the other two being at seattle and home versus the niners not easy i'm gonna say this i think it is

03:09more likely the indianapolis colts do not win the afc south than win the afc and the odds would

03:16agree with that statement by the way this is a colch team for me they did an excellent job beating bad

03:22teams and smashing them that is consistently overvalued year over year over year how have

03:29they done against projected playoff teams rams chiefs stealers lost they smashed the chargers and

03:35they should have lost to the broncos if not for a field goal call we could be staring down the

03:39barrel of a team one and four against playoff teams right no you're right but you see like i

03:44take a different side forget the pittsburgh game because they were down big in that matchup right

03:48but one score by both potentially the best team now in the nfc in their house and three points

03:57terrible to the best team or that everybody's anointing as afc champions the chiefs in their

04:03house they lose by a field goal that's i'm just saying so for me my perception is hey this team

04:09gets into a playoff type of situation they have showed me even though they lost those games

04:14catching points i'm willing to back this team and again maybe you get out of you know a certain

04:19situation with a cover joe at the end of the day you're right they covered this football game

04:23when you're booked as the favorite true i gotta think i gotta stack there's a flaw there's definitely

04:30weaknesses there how like at the end of the day as much as they weren't supposed to win this game

04:36up double digits going into the fourth where the highest scoring offense in football i know

04:42where were the remainder of those points that they were waiting on in this game
