'Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story' actor Cooper Koch says the success of the Netflix show has "the needle threading" in his career, calling the weeks since the premiere "crazy." The actor also reveals he wants to take on the iconic Patrick Bateman role in the 'American Psycho' reimagining.

00:00So what have these last couple weeks been like for you? It seems like it's been a little crazy from the outside.

00:06Yeah, it's been pretty crazy. I'm having fun though. I'm still loose. I'm hanging.

00:13Good. Well, that's a good approach to that.

00:15Are you getting a bunch of calls, a bunch of scripts, a bunch of interest now?

00:20Or has it changed anything career-wise so far?

00:22Yes. Things are coming in. Things are moving. Things are happening.

00:26I'm taking meetings and the needle is threading.

00:32So we'll see. We'll see. Nothing's locked in or happening yet.

00:38So yeah, we'll see.

00:41Do you have any idea of something you would like to do next or a genre you would like to tackle?

00:45Well, I just was saying to him that Luca's doing American Psycho.

00:49So I think I could do Patrick Bateman. Don't you think?

00:56That's perfect and perfect timing. That was just announced a couple days ago, I think.

01:00I mean, and I haven't played a serial killer yet.

01:04So I think I could do it.

01:09I mean, what has it been like seeing the reaction and seeing everything changing with the legal side of things

01:17and kind of the real impact the show seems to be having?

01:19Yeah, it's very, very rewarding and I feel so lucky to be a part of it and to, you know, have any say in it

01:30and to just share my thoughts and feelings and what I believe in.

01:35And it's really been such an honor and I've just loved being a part of it and seeing how people respond to it.

01:42It's been a true pleasure and joy and I'm so beyond grateful.

01:46So, yeah.

01:47We're celebrating kind of this year of movies right now.

01:50I mean, what's been your favorite movie of the year so far?

01:56Challengers.

01:56I'm a big gay tennis boy, so.
