00:00You look at San Francisco last week, Brock Purdy comes back very efficient, Tom.
00:0319 of 26, three touchdown passes, no interceptions.
00:06McCaffrey only got the ball 13 times out of the backfield, but 81 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
00:11We also have to look at the opposite side.
00:12Like Arizona doesn't have a great defense, but Jacoby Preset, 47 of 57 in that game for 452.
00:18Now, it was a blowout, and they're attacking on a lot of yards late.
00:21We understand that.
00:22But is the way to attack tonight the Carolina Panthers airing it out?
00:25Because Ted does have a low number on the outside as well.
00:28Or, Tom, what wide receivers are you looking at in this game between San Francisco and Carolina?
00:33I think Ted McMillan is a great way to go about this.
00:36You know, at the end of the day, they don't have a whole lot of options.
00:39Xavier Leggett, Jalen Coker, like these are good players.
00:42They shouldn't be having more than, you know, six targets on a game-by-game basis.
00:45Ted McMillan should be having 8, 9, 10 on a game-by-game basis.
00:48But I want to turn to the San Francisco side of things, go to Ricky Pearsall.
00:52Over 19 and a half for his longest reception.
00:54You know, he came back last week, only played on 75% of snaps, only had the one catch, not a big deal.
00:59But when we look back to when he was healthy this year and last year, he is their deep ball guy.
01:04This year, he has a 15.2 ADOT, average depth of target.
01:07He is the guy that they send down the field.
01:09And it makes a lot of sense because Kittle and McCaffrey are operating underneath,
01:12and it leaves a lot of room for Ricky Pearsall downfield.
01:15So, last year, he's regularly breaking off receptions 20, 30, 40 yards.
01:20And we saw this earlier in the year, you know, the first week to start against the Seahawks.
01:23He's getting 45, 30-yard receptions, whatever it might be.
01:26I think they have to get him back involved in the offense.
01:29Last week was just a matter of the game trip getting out of control,
01:32and he didn't have to do a whole lot.
01:34But I see him getting involved early and often this week.
