Just three months after tying the knot in an ABC special in January, the couple, whose engagement was revealed in Nov, announced they are getting a divorce. They sat down with 'Good Morning America' to reveal their decision but offered little to an audience that will want to know what happened after witnessing their inspiring later-in-life love story unfold.

00:18was revealed in November announced that they're getting a divorce. Get a divorce? Yes. Yes. Three

00:25months after getting married? Yes. Yes. They sat down with Good Morning America to reveal their

00:30decision but offered little to an audience that will want to know what happened after witnessing

00:35their inspiring later in life love story unfold. I think we just feel like it's best for the happiness

00:42of each of us to to live apart. ABC News interviewer Juju Chang's takeaway after the sit down was it's a

00:51head scratcher. Turner was seen as beloved to the franchise with all of bachelor nation hoping for

00:56the 70 year old widow to have a second chance at love. But just one day before the pre-taped and

01:01live finale aired on the after the final rose special, the Hollywood reporter published a

01:05report that raised questions about Turner's past. On the show, Turner said he hadn't dated anyone since

01:11the death of his first wife. However, Turner's ex-girlfriend came forward and said they dated for

01:16more than two years. When asked about the story during the post-finale press, Turner brushed it

01:21off as not fitting with all of the positive things that are going on in my life right now.

01:25When speaking Friday on GMA, NIST insisted that did not play a part in their split.

01:30Gary had already discussed that with me. He had explained it to me before the report was ever released.

01:36So we were good with that. That didn't play into it. The couple who were all smiles even ended their

01:41interview by saying they still love one another. I still love this person. There's no doubt in my mind.
