00:11Thursday evening previews. The threequel wraps up the film franchise based on the BDSM
00:15leaning novels by E.L. James. Dakota Johnson once again stars as Anastasia Steele,
00:20while Jamie Dornan reprises the role of Christian Grey. The steamy movie looks set to win
00:25the weekend with a debut of $32 million or more.
00:28Fifty Shades of Grey earned $8.7 million in Thursday previews, while the sequel,
00:32Fifty Shades Darker, took in $5.8 million. With the opening of Fifty Shades Freed,
00:37the movie series will soar past the $1 billion mark at the global box office.
00:40Overseas, the film is set to debut in most markets including France, Australia, Brazil,
00:45Germany, Mexico, Japan and the UK. The movie has already taken in $9.1 million
00:50internationally. The weekend's other two nationwide releases are the family film
00:54Peter Rabbit and Clint Eastwood's terrorist drama, The 1517 to Paris.
