00:00Yeah, PSA.
00:01Wait, question.
00:02Don't hit up your ex again.
00:03Do you think that exes can be friends?
00:05No.
00:06No.
00:08Hey, we're the cast of That 90s Show.
00:10I'm Sam.
00:11I'm Callie.
00:12I'm Ashley.
00:13I'm Max.
00:14What's up? I'm Ace.
00:15And I'm Reg.
00:16And we're in studio with The Hollywood Reporter.
00:25Season 2 sees Leia return to Pointe Place, Wisconsin for another summer.
00:29What's the biggest difference between Season 1 and Season 2?
00:32I mean, honestly, I think just we're all a lot older.
00:35And you can definitely see that with our characters.
00:37They've grown a lot, I think.
00:39And there's a lot of new adventures that we go on for sure.
00:42I feel like the way it was written too, like there are a lot more vulgar jokes.
00:48Like we get there.
00:49We push the boundaries a bit more.
00:51And I think it's also, we also just have more time together, I feel.
00:56Because in Season 1, there were a lot of cameos and you really wanted to see the legacy cast.
01:01And this season, you kind of get to really get to know the kids in the basement, which I love.
01:07There's more episodes.
01:08We have more time to discover our characters and really like work through who our characters are.
01:14And I think being in the second season, we've all really found that more.
01:17So, we're just more on our element.
01:19From the start of these new episodes, right away it seems like the whole crew has gotten so much closer.
01:24And just that their friendships have really grown.
01:26For all of you, how have you guys grown in your friendships with each other since you started filming this show?
01:31It's just so much easier to like interact with everyone now because we've like known each other for like two years.
01:37Yeah.
01:38So, I feel like we just gel so well.
01:40Yeah.
01:41It's totally, I mean, it's like that close of a friend group behind the scenes too, which is really lucky and fun.
01:47I mean, we're all always in each other's dressing rooms where we get lunch together.
01:50It's epic.
01:51I think we're really lucky because we all get along really well and we actually do spend time together outside of work.
01:57All of us, we also started hanging out in Max's dressing room.
02:01We started playing Call of Duty Black Ops 2 together.
02:04It's just every single day.
02:06And I think Debra Jo and Kurt would help with that a lot too because obviously they were on 70's show and they just made us feel so welcome and comfortable.
02:14Yeah, they set that bar.
02:15This is a multicam show and I feel like there are so few multicamera sitcoms on TV anymore.
02:20So many comedies are single cam.
02:22For you guys, what's the best part about being on a multicam show or what do you like about it?
02:26It's so much faster, which I really enjoy because you don't have to worry about like, okay, we move the camera, we get this coverage, then we get this coverage.
02:31It's like, you know, you have all four cameras running at once and you're getting all of the coverage.
02:35So we can really just like exist in the scene and move around the space without being like, okay, my camera's like right in front of me.
02:41I need to like stay facing this way, you know?
02:44So it's like, I feel like we are able to kind of like become our characters better with the multicam.
02:49I really enjoy it.
02:50Now we're going to play a game called So Fly or Bye.
02:54It's inspired by the 90s, but it's all your personal opinion on things from the show.
02:59If you love it, you want to see more of it in future episodes, it's So Fly.
03:02But I like this game.
03:03If you don't like it, bye.
03:05Okay.
03:06Yeah, bye.
03:07Bye.
03:08Callie, bye.
03:09First one, Leia and Jay's relationship.
03:12Yeah.
03:13I don't know.
03:14That's crazy.
03:15I got to think about that one.
03:18Um, I think at different points in the season, it's Fly.
03:23And then at other points, it's definitely like, okay, bye.
03:27Um, I'm going to say bye.
03:30Honestly, I just feel like Leia needs to pass the Bechdel test once in a while and like focus,
03:37look inward and be like, I want to be my own person right now.
03:41But also love Jay, but also men.
03:44I think, I think Fly for a little bit longer, but then there needs to be some separation.
03:50There needs to be a bye.
03:51There needs to be a bye.
03:52You know, there needs to be a bye at some point.
03:54There's always room for a bye.
03:56Yeah, always, but then we can always reconvene.
03:57Yeah, yeah, yeah.
03:58We can fly again.
03:59We can fly again.
04:00We can fly again.
04:01For me, it's bye because Jay, I mean, he's a Kelso.
04:04I mean, you can't settle down with a guy like that.
04:07Come on.
04:08Like, I'm a nice dude.
04:09Like, I wouldn't want my daughter, Dane, Jay Kelso.
04:12But he has a lot of sweet moments this season.
04:14I feel like we see the softer side of him.
04:16I'm going so fly in this one.
04:17Okay.
04:18Just like, I think that they built up a lot of really sweet moments.
04:21Yeah.
04:22Okay.
04:23It's classic.
04:24Nate and Nikki breaking up, but still hooking up.
04:26So fly.
04:27Honestly, I feel like that's so fly.
04:29Nikki needs the, but also it's fun.
04:31That's fun.
04:32No?
04:33Is that not?
04:34Okay.
04:35Unhealthy habits.
04:36Don't get back with your ex.
04:37Yeah.
04:38Yes.
04:39Don't get back.
04:40You guys broke up for a reason.
04:42Stay broken up.
04:43Yeah.
04:44I just think complete bye with that.
04:45Yeah.
04:46No, nothing.
04:47Yeah.
04:48PSA.
04:49Wait, question.
04:50Don't hit up your ex again.
04:51Do you think that exes can be friends?
04:53No.
04:54No.
04:55Bye.
04:56Bye.
04:57Bye.
04:58That's T.
04:59That's drama right there.
05:00I mean, realistic.
05:01It is.
05:02It is.
05:03I'm with that.
05:04I mean.
05:05Gwen and Cole is a couple.
05:06Gwen and Cole.
05:07Yes.
05:08Fly.
05:09So fly.
05:10I love it.
05:11It's fly.
05:12I think he needs to come back from college.
05:13I think he needs to like drop out of college.
05:15Yeah.
05:16Mary.
05:17Mary is crazy.
05:18But like.
05:19What?
05:20Soccer.
05:21Over love.
05:22Soccer.
05:23Yeah.
05:24Also, he read the date wrong.
05:25Like.
05:26June and July.
05:27He stopped reading halfway through.
05:29Like, come on.
05:30Let's just get some reading comprehension here.
05:32Like if you're going to college.
05:33Maybe Gwen's too good for Cole.
05:35I love seeing Gwen's softer side.
05:36And her more emotional side with him.
05:38Yeah.
05:39Me too.
05:40I know she actually was vulnerable.
05:41It was really fun too.
05:42For like Leia to be giving Gwen the advice for once.
05:44I thought that was.
05:45Oh my gosh.
05:46Callie loved that.
05:47I loved it.
05:48Oh my gosh.
05:49Don't get me started.
05:50Bye.
05:51You're her brother, man.
05:52Yeah.
05:53That's, that's a question for him.
05:54I feel like.
05:55So fly.
05:56I think that's a sweet storyline.
05:58Yeah.
05:59And they're, they're like, that's an interesting relationship.
06:01It's a very, kind of like you were saying.
06:02It's a realistic relationship.
06:03It's like, they're total polar opposites and opposites often attract.
06:07It was like, yeah.
06:08But again, they have great scenes together.
06:10So it's like, you want to watch more of that.
06:13I like Cole a lot, but I, I, I also want to see her with a different person.
06:17So I'm going to say bye.
06:18Jay and Nate's bromance this season.
06:21So fly.
06:22I'm going to.
06:23Yeah, fly.
06:24I love a good bromance.
06:26Yeah.
06:27Yeah.
06:28There's, there's love there.
06:29Especially like Mace and Max.
06:30It's just a genuine bromance.
06:31There's no acting there.
06:32No, it's not even scripted.
06:33No.
06:34Beyond fly.
06:35Yeah.
06:36That's epic.
06:37It's so fly that.
06:38I've used epic a lot today, but that's just how I feel.
06:41It's a good word.
06:42It's an, it's an epic word.
06:43It's an epic word.
06:44I was going to say it's so fly that I was actually flying on top of your van.
06:49Okay.
06:50Well you just won.
06:51Oh, that's awesome.
06:52Kitty getting litty at the field party.
06:55Oh, so fly.
06:56So fly.
06:57Get lit.
06:58Yeah.
06:59She was so in the, in that 70s show.
07:03She's like, I'm breaking out my margaritas all the time.
07:06And I feel like she just needed to remember who she was, which is a party girl.
07:11Go back to her roots.
07:12Be like party it up.
07:14So fly.
07:15So fly.
07:16So fly.
07:17So fly.
07:18Thank you guys so much for stopping by.
07:19That was so much fun.
07:21That was awesome.
07:22You nailed the game.
07:23I feel like we, we nailed the game.
07:26That game was so fly.
07:27Yeah.
07:28So fly.
07:29Yeah.
07:30The game was so fly.
07:31And now we have to say bye.
07:32We do.
07:33We totally do.
07:34We do have to say bye.
07:35Great.
07:36And part two of that 90s show is on Netflix right now.
07:40Right now.
