A tense political showdown unfolded in Bialystok as hundreds of protesters accused the Polish government of dragging the country toward open belligerence in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Led by Confederation of the Polish Crown MEP Grzegorz Braun, demonstrators demanded strict neutrality and denounced what they called “foreign influence” pushing Warsaw into deeper involvement in the war. The rally featured sharp criticism of continued aid to Kiev, allegations of corruption among Ukrainian authorities, and warnings that Poland is being manipulated into becoming a frontline state. With rising anti-Ukrainian sentiment in eastern regions and government leaders defending unwavering support for Kiev, the protest exposed a widening national divide over Poland’s role in the conflict.
