00:00Gabungan Rakyat Sabah chairman, Hajiji Noor, said voters should not be swayed by the various slogans espoused by opposition parties, saying such rallying cries did not reflect the realities on the ground.
00:13Hajiji says slogans like Save Sabah, Make Sabah Better, and Rebuild Sabah were vague on what exactly these parties wanted to save, improve, or rebuild.
00:23He was quoted by the Borneo Post as saying that some have already had the opportunity to govern Sabah, yet they are once again contesting with all these slogans.
00:33Hajiji said under GRS, numerous initiatives were rolled out, particularly for the underprivileged, which had never been implemented before and that was why the opposition's battle cry would not work, as the people wanted to move forward.
00:47He also urged voters to choose candidates who can bring progress not just locally but for Sabah in the future.
00:54Last week, GRS Secretary-General Masidi Manjun questioned Warisan's Save Sabah slogan and asked what the state needed saving from, given that Sabah fares much better now than under Shafi Abdel's 26-month government.
