On April 20, 1999, the United States was shocked by the Columbine High School massacre in Colorado. The tragedy received wide resonance in the United States. In 2005, a student at a nearby school created the video game Super Columbine Massacre RPG!, in which players take on the roles of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold and see the events of the Columbine High School Massacre through the eyes of the killers. Downloaded more than half a million times, it was subject to criticism from the public and caused much controversy: is it possible to play Columbine? Does the game help you understand the motives of killer students and avoid future tragedies, or is it a morally dubious murder simulator?
