00:00Ice users in anime are often cool and composed characters who can manipulate frozen water in
00:16various ways. From blood chilling techniques to creating massive glaciers let's dive into
00:21some awesome moments when ice users in anime flexed on their opponents.
00:30With the strongest ice type zanpakuto and the audacity to ask his opponent's name before defeating them,
00:39he unleashes a never seen before ability that puts the third espada at his mercy.
00:44Everything the snow touches freezes into a flower and Haribel becomes nothing more than a confectionary
00:49tower of ice and if it wasn't for wonderwise Haribel would have been killed by her frakion.
00:54The hype and the intensity of this scene was amazing, especially considering that Hitsugaya
00:58is probably one of the most liked characters in Bleach, his strength and spiritual pressure
01:02that was even noticed by other captains and espada and manga readers should know that this
01:06isn't even his greatest feat yet, but that's something for a future video.
01:10This is one of the coldest scenes in anime from a relatively slept upon series.
01:29One of the most memorable scenes in Gekkai Sensen and beyond is the one where Stephen A's Starface
01:34unleashes his power of needles of absolute zero against a group of enemies who've betrayed him.
01:39This scene showcases that it's Stephen's cool and ruthless personality along with his blood
01:44technique that makes him a terrifying ice user. He can control the direction and speed of the needles
01:49with his mind and can also make them explode into shards of ice. It shows that Stephen isn't someone
01:54to be messed with and that he has a strong sense of justice and loyalty. A master manipulator and a
01:59powerful combatant in his own right, Stephen being able to deduce the ambush and catch his enemies
02:04off guard by using the needles shows that if someone is monologuing at you while being held at gunpoint,
02:08then the game's already over.
02:19We can't have a list of ice users without the Nakama-wielding stripper from Fairytale.
02:30One of the most thrilling battles in Fairytale's final season was the clash between Gray and Invel,
02:35the Winter General of Zeref's army. The fight wasn't only a test of strength and magic but also
02:40psychological warfare that pushed Gray to his limits. With his emotions frozen and having to
02:45choose between his love for Juvia and his duty to stop Zeref, Gray had to unleash his true potential
02:50and show his resolve. The fight pushes Gray's character development and emphasizes the importance
02:54of his role in the story. It also showcased his impressive ice magic skills and his rivalry with Invel,
03:00who was a formidable opponent, giving Gray a power-up in the final arc by defeating one of the most
03:04powerful ice users in Fairytale. A bonus benefit is that this finally gave progress to the Gray and
03:09Juvia's ship that we've seen and suffered through all throughout the series.
03:19Next is an underrated remake of a golden anime, Horohoro, from the 2021 version of Shaman King.
03:25Horohoro's fight against Jackson and Kado from Team Mio is more spectacular than ever in this
03:35version of the anime. Horohoro is a Shaman from the Ainu tribe who can control ice with his spirit ally
03:40Kororo. He uses his ice powers to create various weapons and structures such as snowboards, icicles,
03:46shields and ramps. He can also manipulate the temperature and moisture in the air to create
03:50snowstorms and blizzards. Using his new oversold Nibobo gauntlets, Horohoro blasted a
03:55hole through Jackson spirit and Frozo vocados. From a snowboard loving idiot to a badass member of
04:01Team Ren, Horohoro made quick work of two elite buddhist shamans and gained their recognition to
04:06receive one of the five grand elemental spirits. It seems that beating two of their elite shamans
04:11that can go to hell and back is a very effective resume to be eligible to receive one of the greatest
04:16power-ups in the world of Shaman King.

05:57Mad Tale Idol RPG for sponsoring this video. Links in the description. Another ICE user that will most
06:02definitely show up here is Dodoroki and his fight against Serro in My Hero Academia.
06:12Calling this one a fight would be giving the Tape Man too much credit, since this is a one-sided
06:16battle that we can't see going any other way than Dodoroki winning. Even when Serro took the
06:20initiative and attacked first by immobilizing Dodoroki, the son of Endeavor was just too strong.
06:25He was able to freeze Serro and half of the arena with a single move, leaving everyone speechless and
06:30stunned. The ice that formed was so big it even eclipsed outside the arena. Even Eraserhead,
06:35who is usually calm and collected, was left stunned by that single move. The fight was just another
06:39stepping stone for Dodoroki and an outlet to express his anger and frustration after being confronted
06:44by his father. Moving to the next entry before we all freeze to death, Miyuki uses Niflheim on the
06:55invaders during the first season of Irregular at Magic High School.
07:05We all tend to forget that Tatsuya's sister can be a monster by herself since she is mostly portrayed
07:10as the cliched loving sister to the main protagonist in this power fantasy anime. But this moment in
07:15particular showed us that she is no joke and has no qualms about killing people too. For the crime of
07:19trying to stab her beloved brother in the back, Miyuki completely freezes the attacker in his place and
07:24his allies watch in horror. The other dozen or so invaders are next as they stand in place and watch
07:29as ice gathers from below their feet, slowly crawling up their bodies. This spell Miyuki used is able to
07:35produce dry ice and even liquid nitrogen from the air. The technique ignores heat and appearance,
07:40using magic to uniformly cool down all the objects within a set area. So no matter if it's an object or
07:46a person, and no matter how many there are, as long as they're in the spell's vicinity, they will get frozen.
07:52This simple scene perfectly encapsulates just how far Miyuki will go to protect her brother and that
07:57she does have the power to do it, but also uses said power in a no-nonsense and straightforward
08:01approach that will either leave her victims a statue of ice or a burning crisp.
08:10Quite a different tone from the rest on this list now. Seeing Puck turn into the beast of the end is one
08:14of the most memorable and horrifying moments in the first season of re-zero.
08:26Now if you're a fan of re-zero, you probably remember the shocking scene where Puck reveals his
08:30true form as the beast of the end, a gigantic cat-like creature with golden eyes and immense power.
08:37The horror of this moment is hard to describe as Puck unleashes his wrath on the world after Emilia's death,
08:42freezing everything in his path and destroying anyone who opposes him. Puck's transformation
08:46isn't only terrifying, but it's also heartbreaking as he abandons his cute and playful personality
08:52and becomes a ruthless monster who only cares about fulfilling his contract with Emilia.
08:56The build-up to the reveal was great since Subaru dies two times from freezing to death before we
09:00get to see what caused it. His first death in the underground tunnel teases Puck being responsible
09:05when we hear his voice as Subaru shatters into pieces. The second death is where his true form is
09:10finally shown as a hulking beast that looms from afar. We can only watch as Subaru freezes from the
09:15blizzard caused by Puck and his head is blown over by the winds of ice. The credits roll accompanied by
09:20a melancholic orchestra to show just how hopeless of a death this was, with the blizzard engulfing
09:25everything until all we can see is snow white.
09:41The most badass ice user to ever exist in anime, Aokiji and his fight against the straw hat show just how
09:48dangerous the marine admiral is. Angry and tired of Aokiji's taunting game, Robin used her devil fruit
10:02abilities to break him into pieces against Usopp's wishes. But in one of the greatest flexes of any
10:07ice user in any form of media, he came back from being broken to pieces and breathed on the grass to
10:12create an ice saber, which just goes to show that the limitations of his devil fruit might as well
10:17be his imagination. If he was as brutal as a Gainu, One Piece would have ended years ago. The fight
10:22left a lasting impression on both sides and foreshadowed future events that would shake the
10:26world. Aokiji wasn't even serious, but he easily overpowered Luffy, Zoro and Sanji and almost killed
10:32Robin with his freezing touch. The only reason he spared them was because of his past connection with
10:36Robin's friend, Jaguar de Sol, who was also a former marine. And if that isn't a flex, then I don't know
10:42what is. Two flexes in one scene.
10:54Possibly one of the most powerful feats done by an ice user, Esdeath freezing literal time versus
11:00Susanoo in Agame ga Kill is one you shouldn't miss. She possesses a powerful Daegu called Demon's
11:14Extract that allows her to manipulate ice and mold it from nothing. Due to her ego and immense mental
11:19willpower, she was able to withstand the Daegu's overwhelming insanity and obtain its abilities.
11:24She uses it to create icicles, freeze people to death and more. A testament to Esdeath's power is
11:30that she was actually capable of creating her own trump card techniques for her Daegu.
11:34Something no other Daegu user has ever been able to accomplish as the Daegu themselves had such
11:38functions built into them by their creators in the first place. The most powerful of her trump
11:42cards is Mahabdama, which allows her to freeze time and gives her a moment to make a move during
11:47its effects. It's during the fight with Susanoo and Najenda that she first revealed this ability.
11:52Najenda activated Susanoo's ultimate ability Magatama Manifestation in an attempt to create a
11:58diversion for Night Raid to escape, intending to sacrifice both herself and Susanoo.
12:03But Esdeath freezes time and just casually walks up to Susanoo before stabbing him and shattering
12:08his Daegu into pieces. While this didn't end Susanoo's life and allowed him to sacrifice himself
12:13so that the other Night Raid members could escape, this showed just how overpowered Esdeath was.
12:17Her only problem was a massive ego that underestimated her opponents and her one-sided obsession for
12:23Tatsumi. Esdeath may have been a crazy woman but that still won't stop many people from wanting
12:28to be stepped on by her and that may be her greatest flex yet.
12:38And those are my picks for moments when Ice users flexed on their opponents. There are so many more
12:43cool characters in other anime that I'm bound to have missed out. Let me know what you think in the
12:46comment section below. Leave a like and thank you so much again for watching this video.
