00:00At least 24 people have been killed and dozens wounded after Israel launched airstrikes against Hamas targets in Gaza on Saturday.
00:15The wave of attacks targeted several areas in the north and center of the Gaza Strip, with children, women and the elderly among the victims.
00:23According to Israeli officials, the attacks were launched in response to earlier gunfire targeting Israel soldiers when an armed terrorist crossed the so-called Yellow Line, an area used for transporting aid controlled by Israel.
00:38However, Hamas denies the claim.
00:41Both sides have been accusing the other of breaking the ceasefire deal agreed to six weeks ago.
