Wapres Gibran Soroti Konflik Gaza saat Pidato di KTT G20: Dunia Tak Boleh Normalisasi Penderitaan

JOHANNESBURG, KOMPAS.TV - Wakil Presiden Gibran Rakabuming menyoroti konflik kemanusiaan di berbagai belahan dunia, termasuk di Gaza, Palestina saat pidato sesi kedua di KTT G20, Johannesburg, Afrika Selatan, Sabtu (22/11/2025).      Gibran menyoroti tragedi dan bencana kemanusiaan dan meminta agar tidak menormalisasi serta membiarkan penderitaan manusia.    "Kita melihat hal ini di Gaza, Ukraina, Sudan, dan Sahel, serta banyak wilayah lainnya, di mana konflik telah meruntuhkan rumah-rumah, merampas harapan dan mata pencaharian masyarakat. Tragedi ini mengingatkan kita untuk menempatkan umat manusia di jantung pemerintahan global. Dunia tidak boleh membiarkan dan menormalisasi penderitaan manusia yang sebenarnya dapat dicegah menjadi normal baru," kata Gibran. 00:57for 80 million students and pregnant women as strategic investment.

01:03That promotes the use of local products, empowering farmers, and livestock breeders,

01:10while expanding economic activity in many areas.

01:14On the other hand, as an island nation located in the Pacific Ring of Fire,

01:22Indonesia faces more than 3,000 disasters every year,

01:27from earthquakes, floods, to volcanic eruptions.

01:32For Indonesia, resilience is not a slogan.

01:37It is a daily reality.

01:39Drawing from these experiences, Indonesia promotes the concept of sustainable resilience,

01:49a framework in which human development, economic growth, and environmental protection can advance in harmony.

01:59Excellencies, today's disasters are not only natural, many are the results of human action.

02:13We see this in Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, and the Sahel, and many other regions,

02:20where conflicts reduce homes to rubbles, deprive people of hopes and livelihood.

02:27These tragedies remind us to put humanity at the heart of global governance.

02:35The world must not allow and normalize preventable human suffering from becoming the new normal.

02:44As a forum representing 85% of the world's GDP, the G20 carries a moral duty to lead by example,

02:56ensuring that growth and resilience become two sides of the same coin,

03:03driving hope, prosperity, and justice for all.
