00:00I get tired of these criticisms of the president.
00:02You know, you're focused too much on foreign policy, not enough on domestic policy.
00:06What are they talking about?
00:08This guy's got hundreds of executive orders, reversing regulations, tax cuts, the border, on and on.
00:15I said, you know what?
00:17Last Saturday, I explained on this issue of affordability that blue states are unaffordable,
00:24and red states are affordable, and Republicans need to run on that.
00:28But what about the people in these states, Mark?
00:31What about it?
00:32The president of the United States is president of the United States.
00:34He's not running the local pizzeria.
00:36He's not running the local grocery store and all the rest of it.
00:40There are things he can do and things he can't do, but there are things he's doing like we've never seen before.
00:46I think he's doing more than FDR ever did at the height of the New Deal, and it's only eight, nine months in.
00:51Let's look at this.
00:52He is the general.
00:54In the culture war, he's the general in making domestic moves that no president has made, certainly not in our lifetime.
01:03And what am I talking about?
01:04He's defunding DEI.
01:06He's removing it from federal policy, and he's removing it from state and local policy in colleges and universities that receive federal funds.
01:14He's depoliticizing the left-wing anti-American rewrite of our founding and history that's taking place in federally funded museums and national parks, which are promoting a hard left ideology.
01:28He's removing left-wing directives that were coming out of our education department, the local school districts, K through 12 classes.
01:35He's doing the same thing.
01:37He's fighting hard when it comes to higher education.
01:40In fact, he's dismantling the Department of Education, something that President Reagan wanted to do desperately, and he was blocked by who?
01:48The Republicans in the Senate.
01:50Trump's doing it with the help of his excellent education secretary.
01:54He's promoting school choice like no president in American history.
01:58Options, particularly for poor people, particularly for poor minorities.
02:02He's withholding federal education funds for leftist agendas, indoctrination being pushed in our schools.
02:11He is fighting hard and, again, using federal dollars as a whip to prevent men from going into women's sports, boys from going into girls' sports.
02:21That was supposed to be protected under Title IX of the Civil Rights Act.
02:25He has defunded PBS, a left-wing operation.
02:29He has defunded NPR, a left-wing operation.
02:33And why do we need him?
02:34You've got 1,200 channels on cable, and you've got hundreds and hundreds and thousands of stations on radio.
02:41If they're that great, let them get private funding.
02:44He has locked down the border, literally locked down the border.
02:49He's enforcing immigration laws against Democrat mayors, Democrat governors, who are the new Confederates, who are trying to nullify federal law.
02:59He's trying to deport illegal aliens, especially the worst of the worst.
03:03He's appointing originalists to the federal bench to try and counter what Biden did, which is basically destroy the judiciary with activists, left-wing lawyers.
03:13He's rebuilding America's infrastructure and industrial base through tax cuts, regulation cuts, and, yes, tariffs.
03:23And, by the way, his tax cuts are for all Americans, including on tips, Social Security benefits, overtime, middle-class income earners, and small businesses.
03:35What else?
03:37Revolutionary changes over there at the Department of HHS in our federal health agencies.
03:43Extensive reform of welfare programs, including expanding work requirements.
03:48Major overhaul of the student loan programs, including capping them.
03:52A complete overhaul of radical left-wing degrowth environmental rules over at the EPA.
03:59Massive expansion of domestic energy production, including opening more land for drilling, speeding up permitting for energy projects, re-evaluating or rescinding regulations seen as burdensome to domestic energy production.
04:13His administration has recently issued executive orders, signed legislation, provided financial support aimed at significant expansion of U.S. nuclear capacity.
04:23I think this is one of the great answers to energy in the United States of America.
04:28He's authorizing mining for all materials, especially rare earth materials, and we see it bearing fruit in Alaska and in Pennsylvania, including expediting permitting, prioritizing mineral extraction on federal lands, as well as using the Defense Production Act to fund projects and reduce dependence on foreign sources like China.
04:48He's consistently promoting policies aimed at massively expanding U.S. artificial intelligence.
04:55He's got the commitment of investments of trillions of dollars in this, so we stay ahead of China, because this is the new frontier, like it or not.
05:03And technology growth through deregulation, increased R&D investment, public-private partnerships, workforce training.
05:12I pulled, Mark, where'd you get it?
05:13I pulled it off the internet.
05:14I looked at all these different sites, pulled it together, and I said, what do they mean he's not focusing on domestic activities?
05:20Are you kidding me?
05:22He's expanding U.S. timber production on federal lands.
05:25He's streamlining permitting processes.
05:27He's reduced regulations with a goal of a 25% increase in production.
05:32These actions were aimed at cutting red tape, expediting logging, salvaging operations, purportedly to reduce wildlife risks and boost the domestic industry.
05:42Hey, Nuscombe, you could learn something from this.
05:45Pay attention.
05:47Reducing regulations and opening previously protected areas to commercial fishing, aiming to boost the domestic economy and compete with foreign imports of fish.
05:57What about farming?
05:58Enhancing farming.
06:00The enhanced crop insurance, expedited and expanded disaster assistance, market access and trade deals for countries in Asia and Western Hemisphere, particularly China.
06:10Aiming to remove tariff and non-tariff barriers and expand market access for U.S. agricultural products overseas, like ethanol, soybeans, poultry, deregulating the agriculture industry and overturning climate-related regulations that lower farmer input costs.
06:27Even the cost of fertilizer was prohibitive.
06:30Now he's bringing it down.
06:32What else?
06:32He's expanding ranching, primarily by increasing access to federal grazing lands, expanded grazing access, financial support with more government-guaranteed loans, and expand access to capital for producers, predator compensation for livestock.
06:47You know, we've been protecting predator species for forever, and obviously it has an effect on the livestock.
06:53Increasing funding for small meat processors, reduction of inspection fees, because he wants more production.
07:01Remove unfair tariff and non-tariff barriers and create fair and reciprocal trade, expanding opportunities for U.S. exports.
07:10That's what's meant by reciprocal trade deals when he talks about them.
07:14He's pursued various actions aimed at lowering medical and prescription drug costs through executive orders, price transparency rules, and voluntary pricing agreements with manufacturers.
07:24Capping out-of-pocket insulin costs from participating Medicare beneficiaries at no more than $35 a month for a month's supply.
07:34Initiatives at the Food and Drug Administration to speed up the approval of lower-cost generic medicines and biosimilars, which are often significantly cheaper than the brand-name alternatives.
07:45States can now legally import lower-cost prescription drugs if it can be done safely from Canada.
07:53What else has the president done domestically?
07:56Oh, I don't know.
07:57He's focused so much on foreign affairs.
07:59Executive orders on deregulation.
08:02Signed executive orders directing federal agencies to identify and remove unnecessary administrative expenses and rent-seeking practices that drive up housing costs and impede new development.
08:14He signed into law an expansion of low-income housing tax credits, a program that incentivizes private investors to build affordable rental housing.
08:23Federal land development.
08:24He supports plans to make federally-owned land available for new housing development.
08:28And, of course, what he really needs is for the Fed to get its ass in gear and to significantly lower interest rates as they should.
08:35And he's been pounding on the Fed and pounding on Powell and telling them,
08:38you're killing the housing market, I'm doing everything I can from a fiscal perspective, you need to act from a monetary perspective and lower interest rates.
08:49In the initial months of his second term, real inflation, adjusted wages for blue-collar workers, saw a significant increase,
09:00contrasting with negative real wage growth observed during the first part of the Biden regime when inflation was high.
09:06Now, what else is he doing?
09:08Education is a disaster.
09:10The president knows this, and he's been working on it.
09:13Against the teachers' unions, against the Democrats in Congress, against Lisa Murkowski of Alaska,
09:18against this massive industrial education complex that is in place,
09:24they take your tax dollars at the federal level, they take your property tax dollars at the state level,
09:29and what do they do?
09:30We don't want parental involvement.
09:32We don't want school choice competition.
09:33We don't want, we're in charge, pushing a leftist ideology every step of the way.
09:38And the results are seen, and Trump says, wait a minute, no more.
09:43We've got to fix this.
09:44What is he doing?
09:46In K-12, he is ending the radical indoctrination of our students.
09:51It's being monitored, it's being fought, and he's being opposed every step of the way.
09:56School choice and vouchers, the proposed Education Freedom Scholarships and Opportunity Act,
10:01by allowing tax-free withdrawals from 529 education saving plans for a K-12 cost.
10:08So you can take that money out of money you put aside for college and university in one day,
10:13which your kids may never use for that, or you may not,
10:15and apply it to school choice at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels.
10:22School discipline.
10:23Reinstate common-sense school discipline policies that focus on objective behavioral misconduct rather than DEI principles.
10:31Thank you, Obama.
10:32Parental empowerment.
10:33The administration has supported policies aimed at giving parents more control over their children's education and school options.
10:40Higher education.
10:41Dismantling the Department of Education.
10:44It's going on right now under a great Secretary of Education.
10:49And that means transferring many of its functions to other agencies, block granting funding to the states, that sort of thing.
10:57That has been a desire of conservatives and Republicans since the late 1970s,
11:03when this monstrosity was created as a gift to the NEA and the AFT.
11:08And this is the first president, the only president, to actually do something about it.
11:12As I said, ending DEI in affirmative action, the Department of Education removed or archived hundreds of guidance documents and webpages related to DEI.
11:21And they directed schools to comply with the Supreme Court decision that ended affirmative action in college admissions.
11:29Accreditation reform.
11:30Initiatives were proposed to reform the higher education accreditation process to encourage a competitive marketplace and potentially lower college courses.
11:40You know, we conservatives, I for one, these are things I have supported and advocated for decades.
11:47And you know where they went?
11:48Nowhere.
11:49They were on white papers.
11:51They were in seminars.
11:52They were in debates.
11:53This man, Trump, is actively enforcing these ideas, these principles, these proposals, trying to get America back from the hard left.
12:03That's what it is.
12:04I love it when they say, look what he's doing.
12:06He's imposing his will.
12:07He's attacking free speech and academic.
12:09No, he's not.
12:11He said, enough is enough.
12:13You radical left-wing kooks, you don't own the country.
12:16You don't own the culture.
12:17You don't own the government.
12:18No, it's time for patriotic Americans to take their government back.
12:23And I, Donald Trump, will take the lead.
12:25And that's what he's doing.
12:27Combating anti-Semitism and foreign influence.
12:29This is very important.
12:31This administration has taken measures to combat anti-Semitism on college campuses,
12:36increase transparency requirements for foreign gifts, and influence in American universities.
12:40We need to do much more in this regard.
12:43The prior regime was doing next to nothing.
12:45And we need more from the Republicans in Congress, too.
12:47You know, we don't want a dictator.
12:50Well, neither does Trump.
12:51Neither do I.
12:51Neither do any of these constitutional conservatives.
12:55But we would like you guys in Congress to participate a little bit more, maybe.
12:59That would help.
13:01That's not that you're doing a bad job.
13:02We just need to ramp it up.
13:04Student loans.
13:06Actions have included attempts to limit eligibility and cap borrowing for some federal student loan programs.
13:12They blew the lid off this.
13:13They federalized it.
13:14It is a massive swamp of abuse of spending and so forth and so on.
13:22And Trump's trying to pull it back as he should.
13:25And there's also this public service loan forgiveness.
13:28They've been looking at that very carefully.
13:30This is a trillion-dollar entity with massive abuse that's taking place.
13:36And you and I are now on the hook because Obama basically nationalized it, killed all the privatization.
13:42Trump's trying to bring back some of the privatization and so forth in competition and get control over it.
13:46So, transgender athletes in sports, I hit this very quickly, an order, keeping men out, executive order, keeping men out of women's sports prohibits educational institutions receiving federal funds from allowing transgender women to compete in women's sports categories.
14:04You know, I would say 10 years ago, this would be, excuse me, what's going on?
14:11And so this president said, no, we're going to fight these things.
14:14You know, Biden was all in.
14:16His people were all in.
14:18He said no.
14:21Continued significant support by this president for historically black colleges and universities through a White House initiative.
14:27Folks, I could go on and on and on.
14:30This president has been focused on domestic policy, on foreign policy.
14:35He knows he's got one term left.
14:37He's got about three years left, despite what some of the kooks are saying.
14:41One term left.
14:42And he's doing everything he can.
14:44This is why this midterm election is so crucial.
