00:00It is indeed my honor to welcome to the White House a great friend and a man of leadership,

00:05vision, courage, and strength, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of the Kingdom

00:11of Saudi Arabia. We've gotten to know each other well over the years and he has become a true

00:16partner for peace and prosperity for our countries and for the world and for peace in the Middle East,

00:22which was a crowning achievement for both of us. Our countries have been enduring partners and

00:27together this evening, we're making that partnership closer and stronger than ever before and we have

00:32a very different Middle East than we had when I first came into office. As I saw during my wonderful

00:37visit to the Kingdom in May on that trip, Saudi Arabia announced that it will invest an incredible

00:42600 billion dollars and today I said, any way you can up that? And he said, I am going to up that

00:49to one trillion dollars. So he's investing one trillion dollars in the United States. This week

00:56we're also signing exciting agreements on civil nuclear energy, critical minerals and artificial

01:01intelligence. And as we announced in May, Saudi Arabia is also making an enormous commitment to

01:06building up its own defense capabilities with the largest arms purchase in history, nearly 142 billion

01:12dollars worth of American military equipment and services. Tonight I'm pleased to announce we're taking

01:17our military cooperation to even greater heights by formally designating Saudi Arabia as a major non-NATO

01:25ally. I want to thank the crown prince for the role he played in the transformational

01:30peace deal that was achieved last month. Our friendship and blessings to America, to the

01:36kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to the world stand out and will always stand out to me. You know,

01:41we have an expression, make America great again and that's what we're doing beyond what anyone even

01:46thought possible. So I just want to thank you for being a very big part of it. Thank you very much.
