00:00It's a Thanksgiving miracle for Jen Shaw, who's been granted early release from prison,

00:05just in time to reunite with her family for the holidays. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

00:09alum will be released early from the federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas, on December 10th,

00:14People has reported. The Bravo Leopardy, who's been serving time since February 2023,

00:20considers the timing a gift she doesn't take for granted, according to her manager,

00:24Chris Giovanni. He told the outlet,

00:26Everyone's very grateful for the Federal Bureau of Prisons decision, especially because it means

00:31Jen will be able to reunite with her family for the holidays. Giovanni went on to call Shaw's mental

00:36state really positive and hopeful. He gushed,

00:40She's done a lot of reflecting and real growth during her time away, and is genuinely not the

00:45same woman as she was before. Her focus is on her family and building a healthier, more grounded life.

00:51Giovanni concluded,

00:52She understands the seriousness of the mistakes she made, and is excited to put this chapter behind

00:57her, so that she can show everyone the woman she's worked hard to become.

01:01A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, meanwhile, told People,

01:05For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not discuss any incarcerated individual's

01:10conditions, of confinement, or specific release plans. Shaw was arrested and charged with conspiracy

01:15to commit wire fraud and money laundering in connection with a nationwide telemarketing scheme

01:20in March 2021. Bravo fans will, of course, never forget the intense sprinter van scene

01:26on the reality show when the police came looking for Shaw.

01:29The reality star did not have a trial, as she pleaded guilty to the first charge

01:39in July 2022, after initially pleading not guilty to both the previous year.

01:44In January 2023, she was sentenced to six and a half years behind bars, and ordered to forfeit

01:49$6.5 million in assets, and pay as much in restitution to victims as well.

01:55Her sentence was reduced by one year and eight months, respectively, in March 2023 and October

02:012024, and reduced twice more earlier this year, in January and August. It remains unclear whether

02:07she will go home upon her release, or spend time in a halfway house. Shaw notably is still going strong

02:13with her husband, Sharif Shaw, whom she wed in August 1994, and shares adult sons Sharif Jr. and Omar.

02:20She wished her partner a happy Valentine's Day and birthday via Instagram in February, writing,

02:26Even from miles away, my love and gratitude for you are stronger than ever.

02:30When the duo celebrated their 31st anniversary over the summer, Shaw gushed,

02:35You bring so much joy to my life, and I am forever thankful for your overwhelming love and support

02:39as we approach this next chapter.
