00:06It looks like JLo could be making her big box office comeback with her latest film
00:11Hustlers. The female ensemble picture starring Jennifer Lopez is tracking to gross
00:15$25 million in its domestic debut, which would be a career best for the actress-slash-singer.
00:21The critically acclaimed film is based on a 2015 New York Magazine article about a
00:25group of strippers who team up to con wealthy men in order to survive the great
00:29recession. The flick, which was particularly praised for Lopez's performance, had its
00:33world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival earlier this month. The actress has also been
00:37receiving early Oscar buzz for her role. The actress's last career high for a live-action
00:42opening was Monster in Law, which was released more than a decade ago in 2005 and earned
00:48$23.1 million at the box office. Hustlers, which also stars Constance Wu, Kiki Palmer,
00:54Lili Reinhart and Cardi B, among other big names, opens everywhere Friday and currently
00:59boasts a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. For more on this story, head to THR.com and until
