00:20According to Nielsen's latest total audience report,
00:22Disney Plus accounted for 4% of streaming usage in the quarter.
00:25That's the smallest share among the platforms that Nielsen measures individually,
00:28Disney Plus, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon's Prime Video, and YouTube,
00:32but it's also not that far behind Prime Video at 8%.
00:35Netflix, per Nielsen's figures, came in on top, accounting for 34% of streaming time.
00:40YouTube ranked second at 20%, followed by Hulu at 11%.
00:44All other streaming platforms, including Apple TV+, CBS All Access, and Niche Services,
00:48together made up 23% of time spent.
00:51WarnerMedia's HBO Max launched on May 27th, just four days before the end of the second quarter,
00:55so it didn't make the list.
00:56Disney reported 57.5 million paid subscribers worldwide for Disney Plus in the second quarter,
01:02and more than 60 million by early August.

01:07but it did see the service add blockbuster movies to its catalog, like Avengers Endgame,
01:11I know I said no more surprises, but I was really hoping to pull off one last one.
01:17and Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker.
01:19People keep telling me they know me.
01:22No one does.
01:24Plus, its subscription-driving live capture of Hamilton debuted in July.
01:28It's also worth noting that Nielsen's measurements are only for the United States,
01:31plus streaming services don't regularly release viewing data
01:33and have disputed the accuracy of Nielsen's figures in the past.
