The Zurich Award for Environmental or Sustainable Initiative of the year went to two deserving winners.   Manx National Heritage and Manx Wildlife Trust.

00:00So guys, tell me, how did this collaboration come between you both?

00:04This, for me, is a success story for two charities working together.

00:09Mags National Heritage as custodians of the CARF

00:12and our specialist contractor, Mags Wildlife Trust,

00:14who have the competent people on the ground

00:17to push the Shearwater project forward.

00:22Two charities working together.

00:24Some people would think it's maybe not the easiest thing,

00:27but we're working with great people.

00:30So it has been very easy.

00:33And then why do you think it's important for you to collaborate

00:36and, you know, bring something different to the Isle of Man

00:38and bring a new perspective?

00:40Well, two heads are better than one, aren't they?

00:42So teamwork is key.

00:44We all bring different skill sets to the team

00:46that make us even better working together in partnership.

00:50So, yeah, definitely teamwork.

00:53And, I mean, theoretically, you've not got one.

00:55You've got two winners.

00:56How does it feel for you as a company, you know,

00:58to be the partners of this award and sponsor of this award

01:00and be involved with this amazing initiative?

01:04No, I mean, we're very pleased.

01:06We always, as a company, are very big on sustainability,

01:10do a lot of initiatives with our staff, our building.

01:13So, yeah, to be doing that within the community as well,

01:17outside the business is really great.

01:19So, hopefully, what are you doing?

01:22So, yeah, we'll do our best right now.
