Pop-Tarts is calling out Jerry Seinfeld ahead of the release of his new movie 'Unfrosted.' Seinfeld directed and co-wrote the film, which he also stars in, about the fictional origin story of Pop-Tarts. The actor and filmmaker has said of the movie, "This really did happen in Battle Creek, Michigan, where Kellogg's and Post were located, and they did compete to come up with this product. But the rest of it is complete lunacy." Now, a new video sees Seinfeld get called into Pop-Tarts HQ for a major meeting.

00:27and the two undisputed giants of the cereal world were Kellogg's and Post.
00:31The actor and filmmaker has said of the movie,

00:58is a comedic digital short Seinfeld wrote to promote his new film,
01:02and in the process he brought back some classic characters from his namesake comedy series.

01:12When Mr. Gasworth asked,
01:13how does it feel when people steal your ideas and then do whatever they want with them,
01:17Seinfeld took the opportunity to take a jab at another beloved comedy.

01:28For its part, Pop-Tarts isn't actually upset.
01:30The company notes that the movie is farce, not fact,
01:33but adds that it represents, quote,
01:34the ultimate flattery because it is fan fiction.
01:37Moreover, Pop-Tarts has created a limited edition collaboration with the movie.
