Miles Teller is set to star in a remake of 'An Officer and a Gentleman' for Paramount. The original romantic drama starred Richard Gere as a troubled young man who enters the aviation officer candidate school. The movie proved to be a massive hit when it was released in 1982, grossing over $130 million at the domestic box office, an equivalent of around $420 million today. It also earned six Academy Award nominations, winning two.
