Durante casi dos meses, agentes federales han llevado a cabo redadas sorpresa en Chicago en cumplimiento de la agenda migratoria del gobierno de Trump. Apareciendo en vehículos sin identificación en distintos barrios de la ciudad, confrontan y detienen a ciudadanos atónitos.

00:38All the people from the block came out

00:40trying to stop them

00:44they were smoke grenades. Tear gas.

00:56very hurtful seeing other people

00:58getting caught

01:00in the crossfire, you know,

01:02because they didn't have nothing to do with it

01:04and all of them have citizenship,

01:06you know.

01:18a loud disturbance

01:20right out here.

01:36I came down immediately

01:38with my phone

01:40to document

01:42what I could.

01:44As I said earlier,

01:56in all of the demonstrations

01:58that I participated in

02:00back in the early 70s in college,

02:02I never once was tear gassed.

02:08don't really ever want

02:10to be tear gassed again.

02:12How dare you gas

02:14fellow citizens

02:16of this country.

02:18When I got to the neighborhood,

02:34everybody was just driving,

02:36beeping,

02:38basically warning people.

02:40Whoa, whoa.

02:42It was scary at the same time.

02:46It was surreal.

02:50Being a Mexican American,

02:52I feel like a whole bunch of

02:54weight on my shoulders of

02:58what can we do to help each other.

03:04But there's always someone watching.

03:06Their time will come

03:08and they will be in the courts

03:10and they will have to answer

03:12for all the crimes that they're committed.

03:16The human rights thing

03:18is going to be

03:20is going to be

03:27in the courts.

03:28And they will have to

03:29get rid of these

03:30and they will get

03:31the work of the

03:32people.
