00:00The Department of Agriculture reports eight farm-to-market road or FMR projects in Davao Occidental from 2021 to 2023 that are allegedly missing.
00:10According to the DA, four of the projects seem to be rushing the road construction as the cement was still wet when they visited last month,
00:17while the other four are alleged to be ghost projects.
00:20These eight projects were already declared as completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways with a total cost of 104 million pesos,
00:28seven of which were found in the municipality of Malita, while the other one is in Jose Abad.
00:34The DA revealed the local contractor is involved in the said projects and said that they are targeting a wider audit of 4,700 FMRs to be completed by the first quarter of 2026.
00:46Meanwhile, DA spokesperson Assistant Secretary Arnel de Mesa clarified that former Undersecretary Adrian Bersamin is not connected to the agency's 2025 budget.
