00:00Now, as we are here today, I saw on CNN that the president is meeting with the Saudi Prince.
00:08You know what America First means to me?
00:11How about meeting with the survivors?
00:13How about making sure that America's girls are not being raped?
00:18That's what it means to be America First, not going and just meeting with Saudi princes.
00:24You know, I am so honored to be here and working together with Congressman Thomas Massey, who's
00:31shown so much courage and principle, and I'm so honored to be here next to Congresswoman
00:36Marjorie Taylor Greene and Congresswoman Nancy Mace.
00:41I was telling someone, they said, what did you learn through this process?
00:44I said, sometimes we have to see people not just through their caricature.
00:50And I had caricatures of Representative Greene and Representative Massey and Representative
00:57Mace.
00:58But what I saw is they cared as Americans and human beings.
01:04And they stood with courage.
01:07And they looked at this not from politics.
01:10They looked at this as what is right.
01:13And I'm proud today to be a member of Congress.
01:15I'm proud to work with them, and I'm proud of what we are showing this country is possible.
01:23That if we actually care about American values, maybe we can overcome some of the bitter divides
01:28in this country.
01:29If we don't care about just getting the credit and maybe work together, we could actually
01:36care about forgotten and abandoned Americans like the survivors that testified today.
01:43I was so moved by their testimony.
01:45How can you hear their testimony as all of us have heard, see their tears, see them holding
01:50up photos at the age of 14 and think that they're not telling the truth?
01:57This is not politics.
01:58This is humanity.
02:00Sometimes we get into these chambers and we forget what happened of how we grew up.
02:05Most of us, we grew up, we went to barbecue.
02:07We went to Little League games.
02:09We went to church or temple.
02:13We didn't fly around in private jets and go to a rape island.
02:17We didn't buy off politicians and tell them to keep quiet.
02:22We didn't think that it was normal to abuse or rape young girls.
02:28And then they're saying, well, we don't know if they were 18 or 22.
02:31Come on.
02:33It's rotten.
02:35Then they say, well, just care about the price of eggs.
02:37Just care about the price of health care.
02:39You know what's more important than that?
02:41American values.
02:43These rich, greedy men abused American values.
02:48They abused what's sacred about this country.
02:50They abused what built this country.
02:53I yield a gentleman an additional minute.
02:56And it is time that they're going to have a reckoning.
02:59The Epstein class is going to go.
03:03And the reason they're going to go is because the progressive left and the MAGA right and
03:06everyone in between is finally waking up against this rotten system.
03:12And when people are united, when people work across the aisle, amazing things can happen
03:18because the American people are kind and good and decent.
03:22So it's an honor, Congressman Massey, to have worked with you.
03:25And I salute particularly the courage of Marjorie Taylor Glein, Lauren Boebert, and Nancy Mace.
03:32None of this would have been possible without their courage in standing up on the petition
03:37and for what they did.
