Young artists in Sea Lots and nearby communities are getting a unique chance to showcase their talent and their work could soon greet thousands entering Port of Spain each

00:00Calling all young creative minds, the Public Transport Service Corporation is inviting students in the Sealots and surrounding communities to put their talent on display.
00:11So the BTSC is hosting an art competition that is open to communities in Sealots and environs, primary, secondary, tertiary and vocational schools.
00:23So it's a nationwide competition and of course it's part of our corporate social responsibility where we are attempting to beautify porterspinning environs.
00:33The theme this year, BTSC driving change with clean energy.
00:38So we are an organization that is striving to become more environmentally friendly and we are promoting clean energy.
00:48As you are aware, in the near future we will be acquiring electric buses and we currently have CNG as part of our fleet.
00:56And the prize is more than a trophy.
00:59The winning artwork will be showcased on one of the most visible walls at the entrance to the capital city.
01:06Once the pieces are submitted, it will be judged by the Art Society and the winners in the categories of primary, secondary and tertiary.
01:16They will be displayed on the walls.
01:19So we intend to acquire the pieces, print it and display it on framed wall spaces.
01:25The competition is open to all mediums and students can submit their work digitally or physically.
01:32We found that it was a great opportunity to engage the community for something positive.
01:37Winners will also receive electronic, book and art supply vouchers.
01:43And the BTSC says corporate TNT is welcome to book wall space for advertising.
