00:10Our inaugural list showcased that companies that are redefining innovation on this continent,

00:16from those decoding African genomics to startups using AI to expand healthcare access,

00:23helping farmers monetize their cattle, and even building robots that cut electricity use.

00:30Some of those founders are with us today.

00:33Many like Anda, a ride-hailing firm in Angola, and Swiftwee,

00:39which helps South African trade livestock more efficiently,

00:43are now raising new rounds to scale their growth.

00:47With this next edition, we aim to spotlight even more companies

00:52that are tackling Africa's biggest challenges in bold and creative ways.

00:58The startups are crucial, especially in a world fraught with geopolitical challenges,

01:03trade war, and a climate crisis that disproportionately affects the world's second largest continent.
